Acupuncture aids shoulder tendonitis
Acupuncture help to resolve the calcific deposits of a patient suffering from shoulder calcific tendinitis: A case report.
We explored the benefits of acupuncture in treating shoulder calcific tendinitis, a condition where calcium deposits form in the shoulder, causing pain and restricted movement. Our focus was a 67-year-old woman who suffered from intense shoulder pain and functional limitations for six months.
To tackle her condition, she underwent 12 acupuncture sessions. These sessions were tailored to target specific meridians affected by her illness, using about 12 needles each time. We monitored her pain levels and shoulder movement throughout the treatment period, and a follow-up MRI was conducted afterward.
Remarkably, the follow-up MRI revealed that the calcific deposits had vanished, and she experienced significant pain relief, regaining mobility and independence in her daily activities. Although she reported some mild stiffness afterward, she was encouraged to continue home exercises for further improvement. Though the results are promising, we recommend more extensive studies with control groups to validate these findings further.

Effect of High-Dose Vitamin C on Tendon Cell Degeneration-An In Vitro Study.
We explored the effect of vitamin C on tendon cell degeneration, aiming to find out if it could be an effective treatment for tendinitis. The study involved human-derived tendon cells exposed to oxidative stress, simulating the conditions of tendinopathy. By applying various doses of ascorbic acid, we observed a significant reduction in cell death and oxidative stress in the groups that received vitamin C treatment.
Interestingly, we noted that while both lower and higher vitamin C doses helped with cell survival, the higher dose of 30 mM proved especially effective. It not only preserved the cytoskeletal structure of the tendon cells but also inhibited the expression of a marker linked to aging and degeneration. This suggests that high-dose vitamin C could play a vital role in supporting tendon health and recovery from damage.
In summary, our findings indicate that high-dose vitamin C is a promising option for mitigating tendon cell degeneration. This could provide a new avenue for those suffering from tendinopathy, offering hope for recovery and improved tendon function.

After analyzing the results, we observed that both doses of DHA led to improvements in tendon health, particularly in the biomechanical properties like ultimate tensile force (UTF) and stiffness. Notably, the higher dose of DHA showed the most significant impact, with marked reductions in inflammation markers and damage to tendon cells compared to untreated controls.
Histopathological evaluations revealed that while there was severe degeneration in the AT group, those treated with DHA exhibited healthier-looking tendon cells. This suggests that DHA could indeed serve as a beneficial alternative treatment for managing tendonitis, especially considering its strong anti-inflammatory effects. Overall, our findings support the notion that DHA may be an effective strategy for treating this challenging condition.

It worked all over! It's been three weeks since I started taking it, hoping it would help with stiff shoulders, tendonitis, skin quality, hay fever, and hair quality. Stiff shoulders are almost bother-free now, and while my tendonitis isn't cured, the pain is less than before. My skin texture has improved, and the lichen pilaris on my arms and buttocks is much smoother. In combination with mild medication, my hay fever symptoms are greatly reduced. My hair feels moist and heavy after shampooing. I plan to continue as everything has slowly improved since starting.

I've been taking MSM since 2000 and notice a substantial difference when I stop. It keeps my skin softer and strengthens my nails and hair. Most importantly, it has been vital for strengthening my tendons and ligaments after severe sprains and hip replacement surgery. ORTHO doctors remark on my quick recovery compared to others. Complex N 7 is beneficial for Bursitis in the foot, an inflammation affecting the synovial bursa, specifically in the metatarsophalangeal joint, Achilles tendon, and beneath the calcaneus. Symptoms include pain and swelling due to factors such as microtrauma and excessive load. After continuous use, I found pain relief in my legs and disappearance of swelling.
