We examined the antifungal effects of tea tree oil on horses affected by ringworm caused by Trichophyton equinum. In a random trial involving 60 thoroughbred horses, we administered a mixture of 25% tea tree oil in sweet almond oil to one group while the other received a standard treatment with enilconazole.
After 30 days, all horses treated showed clinical recovery, while some in the control group also improved. This suggests that tea tree oil may be a viable alternative in treating equine ringworm, appealing to those interested in herbal remedies.

I used this oil for ringworm I picked up, possibly from my cats or the public pool. After one month of a few drops diluted in coconut oil, all rings are gone! An amazing product, I love tea tree oil.

This essential oil is excellent, of very good quality, and the size lasts a long time. I use it in various ways, particularly as an antifungal for toenail fungus and Ringworm. As someone who does a lot of sports and sweats frequently, I've had these issues. The aroma is lovely and fresh, providing a sense of cleanliness. Its benefits are numerous, though its composition isn't wholly pure since it contains some alcohol; nonetheless, it’s still effective. While it may cause some sensitivity on wounds, I recommend it as it works well for my needs. This is an honest opinion; it genuinely helps.
