We set out to explore how lactobacillus acidophilus, specifically strain B-2178, impacts vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) in female rats. By dividing our study subjects into five groups, we included controls and examined the effects of different treatments.
In particular, we analyzed the immune response of the vaginal tissue after intravaginal inoculation to establish VVC. The rats treated with strain B-2178 showed a promising ability to maintain an immune-tolerant state in the vaginal epithelium. Through this action, it seemed capable of reducing uncontrolled inflammation, which is often a challenge during candidiasis.
Although our findings suggest that B-2178 may be beneficial in treating VVC, it's important to note that the overall focus was broader and did not isolate lactobacillus acidophilus alone. This makes it difficult to pinpoint the specific advantages of this particular strain compared to others.

As someone with Crohn's disease, this probiotic greatly helps maintain my intestinal microbiota. My girlfriend had recurrent candidiasis, but since using this probiotic, she has had no further episodes. The formula is diverse, reasonably priced, and the number of capsules is generous.

I repeatedly purchase this product! I have heard that acidophilus is effective against candidiasis, and many reviews confirm this. I had esophageal candidiasis, yet after trying it, the persistent candidiasis I struggled with for two years was cured. Since then, I have had no symptoms and my bowel movements have improved; my whole family now consumes it as it also contains bifidobacteria.

Over the years, I've taken many probiotics, but this one suits me perfectly. Initially, my stool was unstable for the first week, but thereafter, it returned to normal. I used to experience vaginal candidiasis when I felt unwell, but since starting this probiotic, it has not recurred. I'll keep taking it as it's easy to ingest and budget-friendly.

No more candidiasis

I am in the testing phase, having started taking this to improve my candidiasis before bed on 21st October 2019. Since then, I have not had any signs of candidiasis and have also noticed a decrease in flu symptoms. I will return to share my final opinion once my trial is complete. In addition to this, I take other vitamins such as vitamin C, D, magnesium, coconut oil, olive oil, vitamin B12 and B6.

When my babies had tummy problems, I opened a capsule and mixed it with a tiny amount of warm water or added it to their bottles. It helped every time, especially for diarrhoea, and successfully eliminated candidiasis from their mouths. This product is beneficial for any digestive disturbances.

Convenient for Candida
It's good. I purchased it to improve constipation and Candidiasis. I wasn’t sure about its effect on constipation, but my vaginal Candidiasis, which used to be frequent, has completely disappeared. It’s also convenient as it doesn’t require refrigeration.

Miracle drug
This is a miracle drug that saved me from side effects while taking antibiotics. Using an antibiotic with this probiotic made a noticeable difference in restoring my microflora during Candidiasis treatment.
