We explored how Lactobacillus strains, specifically NCFM and Lp-115, can help with gastritis caused by H. pylori. By testing them on human gastric cells and in mice, we assessed their ability to prevent H. pylori adhesion and manage inflammation.

The results showed that both strains significantly reduced the colonization and inflammatory responses in the stomach, evidenced by lower markers for inflammation and improved immune cell infiltration.

Overall, NCFM and Lp-115 appear to be promising options for helping to manage gastritis-related symptoms.

We aimed to uncover how the BIFICO probiotic cocktail, which includes Lactobacillus acidophilus, impacts gastritis caused by Helicobacter pylori. The study involved detailed examinations of mouse stomachs after BIFICO treatment, evaluating inflammation and bacterial colonization. While BIFICO didn’t affect H. pylori levels directly, it significantly reduced inflammation markers, suggesting it helps soothe the gut's response to this bacteria. Overall, we found BIFICO could be a beneficial option for managing gastritis symptoms initiated by H. pylori.

Probiotics may reduce gastritis risk
We examined how certain strains of probiotics, particularly Lactobacillus johnsonii MH-68 and L. salivarius ssp. salicinius AP-32, affect Helicobacter pylori, a bacteria linked to gastritis. Through various assays, we discovered these probiotics significantly reduced H. pylori levels and its damaging effects on the stomach lining. They also lowered inflammation indicators. These findings suggest that using these probiotics could be a promising approach to lessen gastritis occurrence and combat H. pylori infection.

Bloating has disappeared

It saved me from gastritis. I take it alongside a complex of mushrooms and lecithin. The capsules are slightly larger than usual, but there are no side effects. I take one capsule during or after a meal. The package, holding 150 capsules, provides a six-month course of treatment, which I highly recommend. Even bloating and flatulence have disappeared.

Gut health restored
An indispensable aid for digestion! I started taking these probiotics due to severe gut issues, including problems with my stool, digestion, constipation, and diarrhoea. After just a few days of taking them, the intestines started functioning like clockwork. I no longer suffer from constipation or poor digestion. The capsules are easy to digest and are safe for stomach issues like gastritis. I personally take one tablet at night, and I feel great during the day. They can be used independently or to improve digestion when taking antibiotics. I recommend them to adults and children alike. I've ordered three more jars for my family!

Probiotics enhance H. pylori treatment
This study aimed to explore if adding bismuth and probiotics could boost the effectiveness of standard treatment for H. pylori in gastritis patients. We found that patients receiving a combination of standard triple therapy, bismuth, and probiotics achieved an impressive 100% eradication rate of the bacteria.

This combination also helped lessen negative side effects from treatment. Thus, incorporating Lactobacillus acidophilus and other probiotics alongside traditional medications could be a game-changer in combatting H. pylori-related conditions.

Lactobacillus acidophilus as vaccine
We examined the use of Lactobacillus acidophilus modified to express a key component of Helicobacter pylori, known as Hp0410, as a potential vaccine against gastric issues like chronic gastritis and ulcers.

In our study, mice that received the recombinant L. acidophilus showed significantly less H. pylori colonization compared to those who didn’t. This vaccine also stimulated both mucosal and systemic immune responses, indicated by increased antibody levels.

Overall, the results suggest that this approach could be a promising and cost-effective strategy to protect against H. pylori infections.

Probiotics enhance H. pylori treatment
We evaluated how effective current treatments are for Helicobacter pylori, a common cause of peptic ulcers. Our study involved 641 patients who received different antibiotic combinations. Notably, adding the probiotic Lacidofil to amoxicillin and clarithromycin significantly boosted treatment success to 94.3%.

However, we also found concerning resistance rates to antibiotics like clarithromycin and metronidazole. This highlights an urgent need to adjust treatment strategies due to rising antibiotic resistance, while also showcasing the beneficial role probiotics may play in enhancing treatment outcomes.

Mixture of probiotics Acidophilus is great as it is better absorbed than milk. The acidophilic bacillus withstands stomach acidity and helps suppress pathogenic bacteria while enhancing the gut's functions. It's known to assist with diarrhoea, gastritis, and constipation, enhancing digestion. However, those with gastritis related to high stomach acidity should avoid it.

Lactobacillus strains aid gastritis treatment
We explored the impact of two Lactobacillus strains, including Lactobacillus acidophilus, on gastritis caused by Helicobacter pylori in infected mice.

In this study, various groups were treated with either antibiotics or Lactobacillus strains, and their gastritis was evaluated through detailed analysis. Both strains showed effectiveness in reducing H. pylori density and inflammation, indicating potential benefits for treating gastritis.

However, it's important to note that L. fermenti exhibited stronger anti-H. pylori activity compared to L. acidophilus.

Lactobacillus acidophilus may help gastritis
We examined the use of Lactobacillus acidophilus for treating gastritis linked to Helicobacter pylori infection. In a study with 15 patients who had tested positive for H. pylori, participants received acidophilus milk daily for two months. Upon follow-up, we found that 6 out of 14 patients were successfully treated. While the number of patients was small, these findings suggest that Lactobacillus acidophilus might help combat this infection, offering an alternative to traditional antibiotic therapy without significant side effects.
