Sulfonamide hypersensitivity not prevalent
We explored the prevalence of sulfonamide detoxification deficiencies, particularly concerning b5 and b5R, in patients with haematologic malignancies. Our study involved comparing these patients to healthy adults and monitoring their responses to intermittent trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (TMP-SMX) treatment.

Interestingly, we found that deficiencies in antioxidants and b5/b5R reduction weren't present in these patients. Moreover, during the treatment period, development of skin rashes and drug-specific T cells was rare, suggesting that the prophylaxis was well tolerated by the majority.

We investigated treatments for pityriasis rosea, a common itchy rash affecting mainly young adults. Our analysis included three randomized controlled trials involving 148 participants.

Despite some different approaches in two of the trials, including antihistamines and steroids, none showed significant differences in easing symptoms. However, we found that oral erythromycin stood out for effectively improving rash and reducing itch compared to a placebo.

While erythromycin shows promise, it’s important to note that this finding was from a small study, signaling the need for more extensive research on its effectiveness and safety.

Rashes stopped
2 people found this helpful
I took 5 grams daily (10 capsules) for two months, and noticed improvements within a week. The wounds healed, and my skin was less dry. Over time, the rashes became less frequent and eventually stopped entirely. There were no side effects, but the positive results only lasted while I was taking them. As Vitamin B5 is water-soluble, it leaves the body quickly. Still, I recommend it for those wanting to reduce acne for a few months.

Reduced facial rash
I liked the effect. We drank one jar with my mother; she has eczema on her hands, while I have rashes on my face. My rashes have decreased and appeared less often, and my mother's hands have improved. We will definitely repeat it.

Rash decreased

I haven't decided if I will take more. I have quite oily skin, and when I took 2-3 capsules daily, the effect was noticeable – my skin shined less, and the pores were less clogged. My teenage daughter also took them; her skin condition is typical for her age, but the rash has decreased noticeably. However, once I forget to take them for a few days, the improvements seem to reverse. I don't want to rely on supplements continuously, so it's unlikely that I will repurchase, although I will consider it.
6
Cleaner complexion
I took it for skin rashes, and my face became cleaner, but the acne did not disappear at all.

Avoids rashes
Great! It helps to avoid rashes when taking high doses of biotin! I recommend taking these vitamins alongside biotin, as they help prevent breakouts by keeping your biotin dose at the right level.

Rashes didn't trouble
Eating this with hyaluronic acid helps my skin. During my menstrual cycle, I usually get a rash, but when taking it with hyaluronic acid, it doesn't cause any issues. I definitely feel the positive effect.

Rashes decreased

The skin became less oily, and my rashes decreased significantly. Even my hair is less greasy! I previously thought I should wash it less often, so this vitamin has helped with that too. To reduce sebaceous gland secretion, it is suggested to take mega doses. I took several capsules, which is above the norm, and this appeared sufficient. If you decide to experiment, I recommend starting with a few capsules and observing the results.
5
No noticeable effect
I ordered this product after reading various reviews online. I took it to prevent and treat rashes, but I did not notice any improvement; it neither got better nor worse.
