Sulfonamide hypersensitivity not prevalent
We explored the prevalence of sulfonamide detoxification deficiencies, particularly concerning b5 and b5R, in patients with haematologic malignancies. Our study involved comparing these patients to healthy adults and monitoring their responses to intermittent trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (TMP-SMX) treatment.

Interestingly, we found that deficiencies in antioxidants and b5/b5R reduction weren't present in these patients. Moreover, during the treatment period, development of skin rashes and drug-specific T cells was rare, suggesting that the prophylaxis was well tolerated by the majority.

We investigated treatments for pityriasis rosea, a common itchy rash affecting mainly young adults. Our analysis included three randomized controlled trials involving 148 participants.

Despite some different approaches in two of the trials, including antihistamines and steroids, none showed significant differences in easing symptoms. However, we found that oral erythromycin stood out for effectively improving rash and reducing itch compared to a placebo.

While erythromycin shows promise, it’s important to note that this finding was from a small study, signaling the need for more extensive research on its effectiveness and safety.

Rashes stopped
I took 5 grams daily (10 capsules) for two months, and noticed improvements within a week. The wounds healed, and my skin was less dry. Over time, the rashes became less frequent and eventually stopped entirely. There were no side effects, but the positive results only lasted while I was taking them. As Vitamin B5 is water-soluble, it leaves the body quickly. Still, I recommend it for those wanting to reduce acne for a few months.

I liked the effect. We drank one jar with my mother; she has eczema on her hands, while I have rashes on my face. My rashes have decreased and appeared less often, and my mother's hands have improved. We will definitely repeat it.

Frequently Asked Questions

A rash is a noticeable change in the texture or color of the skin that can manifest in various ways, including redness, swelling, itching, or blistering. Rashes can result from a wide range of causes, such as allergies, irritants, infections, or skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis. While some rashes may be mild and resolve on their own, others might require medical attention, particularly if they are persistent, widespread, or accompanied by other symptoms like fever or pain.

Identifying the underlying cause of a rash is crucial for effective treatment. Over-the-counter antihistamines or hydrocortisone creams can alleviate mild allergic reactions or irritations. However, for more severe cases or rashes that worsen, consulting a healthcare professional is recommended to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment options. Overall, being proactive and understanding the potential triggers of rashes can help in managing and preventing them in the future.

B5, also known as pantothenic acid, is a vital B vitamin that plays a crucial role in various bodily functions. It is essential for synthesizing coenzyme A, which is key in fatty acid metabolism and the conversion of carbohydrates into energy. Additionally, B5 is involved in the production of red blood cells and helps to maintain healthy skin, hair, and eyes. It can be found in a variety of foods, including meat, fish, dairy products, whole grains, and legumes, making it relatively easy for most people to meet their daily requirements through diet.

While deficiencies in B5 are rare due to its widespread availability in food sources, those who have certain medical conditions, strict vegetarian or vegan diets, or poor nutrition may be more susceptible. Symptoms of a deficiency might include fatigue, irritability, and symptoms related to energy metabolism. Moreover, B5 is also commonly available as a dietary supplement and is often included in multivitamins. However, it's important to consult a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen, particularly if you have underlying health issues or take other medications.

B5, also known as pantothenic acid, is a B vitamin that plays a role in metabolism and the synthesis of hormones and cholesterol. While there is limited scientific evidence directly linking B5 to rash reduction or treatment, it is known for its skin-health benefits, including its potential to aid in wound healing and support overall skin hydration. Some anecdotal evidence suggests that B5 may help with skin irritation, but results can vary depending on the individual and the underlying cause of the rash.

If you're considering using B5 to help with a rash, it may be beneficial to focus on a holistic skincare routine that incorporates a balanced diet rich in vitamins, proper hydration, and gentle skin care products. However, if the rash persists or worsens, it is always recommended to consult a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan tailored to your specific situation.

Based on user reviews, many individuals report seeing noticeable results when taking this supplement for skin rashes within a week. For instance, one user mentions experiencing improvements and healing of wounds in just a week after starting their regimen of 5 grams daily, which aligned with a gradual reduction in rashes over two months (Read Review). Similarly, another review highlights that the combination of Vitamin B5 with vitamin A led to a significant reduction in rashes, further illustrating the potential for quick results (Read Review).

However, it's worth noting that while some users achieved quick outcomes, there are reports indicating varying results. One individual shared that although their rashes decreased significantly, they experienced a reversal of improvements upon discontinuation of the supplement (Read Review). Hence, while many users have seen positive changes quickly, the long-term effects may require continued use of the supplement.

Based on user reviews, many individuals report significant improvements in their skin condition upon taking this Vitamin B5 supplement. Users have observed a marked decrease in rashes and acne, with some noting that their skin felt clearer and healthier. One user shared that after just a week of taking the supplement, their wounds healed and skin dryness improved, eventually leading to rashes stopping entirely after two months of use (Read Review). Another participant highlighted that the vitamin, especially when combined with vitamin A, dramatically reduced the frequency and severity of rashes for several months even after ceasing use (Read Review).

However, it's important to acknowledge that experiences can vary widely. While many report positive changes, others have noted that benefits dissipated quickly upon stopping the supplement, suggesting a need for ongoing use to maintain results (Read Review). Some users dealt with ongoing acne issues despite improved skin clarity, indicating that individual responses to Vitamin B5 can differ (Read Review). In summary, while numerous users have experienced enhanced skin health and reduced rashes, results will vary, and continuous use may be necessary to sustain benefits.

Users have shared a range of experiences when combining Vitamin B5 with other supplements to address skin rashes. Notably, several individuals found that pairing Vitamin B5 with vitamin A led to significant improvements in their skin conditions. One user reported that this combination dramatically reduced rashes, which persisted even months after stopping the supplement (Read Review). Another user indicated that taking Vitamin B5 alongside biotin helped control breakouts, suggesting that the two worked synergistically to maintain skin clarity (Read Review). Users also noted positive results when combining Vitamin B5 with hyaluronic acid, particularly in managing hormonal rashes related to menstrual cycles (Read Review).

Additionally, some reviewers emphasized the effectiveness of high doses of Vitamin B5 for reducing oiliness, which contributed to fewer rashes (Read Review). However, it’s essential to note that experiences can vary, with some users indicating little to no improvement even when combining it with other supplements (Read Review). Overall, the user feedback points towards the potential benefits of combining Vitamin B5 with specific supplements, yet individual outcomes may differ significantly.

Based on user reviews, individuals report varying dosages of Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) for treating skin rashes, with some finding success at doses between 3 to 10 capsules daily. One reviewer noted that taking 5 grams daily, equivalent to 10 capsules, led to significant improvements within a week, with rashes diminishing over time, albeit with the result of the treatment disappearing once they stopped usage ((Read Review)). Others mentioned taking between 2 to 5 capsules daily, with positive results reflected in clearer skin and reduced frequency of rashes, indicating that dosages in that range may be effective for many ((Read Review)).

Some users suggested starting with lower dosages and adjusting based on individual response, as one mentioned that taking several capsules above the norm seemed sufficient and allowed them to observe results ((Read Review)). However, it’s important to note that the effects appeared to diminish when supplements were not taken consistently, with some users experiencing a reversion of skin issues after missed doses ((Read Review)). Overall, while the appropriate dosage may vary by individual, users seem to agree that a regimen of several capsules daily may lead to noticeable improvements in the condition of their skin.

Excellent! I took 3-5 capsules daily to combat rashes, and in combination with vitamin A, it had an outstanding effect. The rashes practically stopped for several months after ceasing use.

Rash decreased
I haven't decided if I will take more. I have quite oily skin, and when I took 2-3 capsules daily, the effect was noticeable – my skin shined less, and the pores were less clogged. My teenage daughter also took them; her skin condition is typical for her age, but the rash has decreased noticeably. However, once I forget to take them for a few days, the improvements seem to reverse. I don't want to rely on supplements continuously, so it's unlikely that I will repurchase, although I will consider it.

Cleaner complexion
I took it for skin rashes, and my face became cleaner, but the acne did not disappear at all.

Avoids rashes
Great! It helps to avoid rashes when taking high doses of biotin! I recommend taking these vitamins alongside biotin, as they help prevent breakouts by keeping your biotin dose at the right level.

Rashes didn't trouble
Eating this with hyaluronic acid helps my skin. During my menstrual cycle, I usually get a rash, but when taking it with hyaluronic acid, it doesn't cause any issues. I definitely feel the positive effect.

Rashes decreased
The skin became less oily, and my rashes decreased significantly. Even my hair is less greasy! I previously thought I should wash it less often, so this vitamin has helped with that too. To reduce sebaceous gland secretion, it is suggested to take mega doses. I took several capsules, which is above the norm, and this appeared sufficient. If you decide to experiment, I recommend starting with a few capsules and observing the results.
5
No noticeable effect
I ordered this product after reading various reviews online. I took it to prevent and treat rashes, but I did not notice any improvement; it neither got better nor worse.
