Evaluation of nasal cold relief
We explored the safety and effectiveness of a unique seawater solution enhanced with hyaluronic acid, eucalyptus, and copper for treating common cold symptoms, especially nasal congestion. Using an advanced 3D nasal tissue model, the solution showed no negative effects on nasal cell health and improved mucociliary clearance.

Those treated with this solution had better nasal drainage and overall relief from congestion. Though the study was conducted in vitro, these promising results suggest that this seawater solution could be a helpful option for alleviating cold symptoms.

We investigated if inhaled hyaluronic acid (HA) can enhance treatment for bacterial acute rhinopharyngitis in children. In a study with 51 kids, we divided them into two groups: one received thiamphenicol alone, while the other got thiamphenicol combined with HA. Both treatments effectively reduced symptoms and bacteria, but those receiving HA showed significantly greater improvement in symptoms and immune response. This suggests that adding HA might boost the effects of traditional antibiotic treatments for children battling this common throat infection.
