I'm impressed!

I have been taking biotin since January 2020. Ordered this Amazon brand so I could try it out. I lost a lot of hair back in the day when I was on an intense hormone treatment before I had a hysterectomy (nearly 20 yrs ago). Hair never really grew back in. Even though I now have a massive halo of short curly hairs all around my head, the new hair growth and noticeable change to my hairline line is incredible! I couldn't be happier. First pic is Nov 2019, second is May 2020. My skin looks pretty darn good too now that I think about it..

Shocked Update

I ordered this awhile ago wanting to make my hair thicker but I didn't take it consistently. I ended up taking some medication for a few months that didn't agree with my body and it caused 30-40% of my hair to fall out. I read online usually it takes 6-12 months to see hair regrow but I wasn't seeing any and feared it could become permanent because it has been about 24 months since my last dose of the medication. I started taking the biotin consistently for the last month and I started noticing little hairs starting around my hairline after about 4 weeks of taking it everyday. Hair is slow growing about a 1/2” every month so I wasn't looking for results quickly and wasn't really expecting to see anything significant until I finished the bottle at least. I'm happy with the results so far and would recommend people try it for hair loss. My husband noticed my baby hairs and he's started taking it since his hair is also thinning so I'll update if he starts seeing results too. I'll definitely update once I finish this bottle and reorder another one. The pills themselves are small and easy to swallow, there's no smell or flavor. Overall, would recommend to anyone looking to try something for hair growth. I'm back for an update! 11/18/22 my second photo you can see the growth continues with the long piece I'm holding and next to that more hair is sprouting back still. I stopped taking it for a bit but started again and hair is still growing back which I'm super happy about I hope by this time next year my hairline and thickness will be back to it's pre-medication days

sorry for the essay, but..

being vegan for two years has done wonders for my weight - i feel & look better than ever! however, my protein intake was lacking until a month ago. due to low protein, my hair and nails gradually changed for the worse. the weight loss almost felt obsolete because my hair was so thin, which was a huge hit to my self image. i started taking Biotin & drinking a daily 20g protein shake (as well as adding way more protein-rich foods), and i'm sincerely impressed after only one month. my hair is filling out, and i've got a new ring of baby hairs all along my hairline that are already almost two inches long. not to mention my NAILS. i've never had length like this because they'd always break or split. i'm not even through my first bottle, and i've already ordered a second. it must also be said that i specifically chose this bottle of Biotin because it ONLY contains biotin. other hair growth supplements i've tried contain “hair growing” ingredients that make me break out badly. if you're thinking of using this for hair growth - my tip is to also start a daily log of your protein intake, and if it's anything less than 50g a day (and you suspect it's been that way for a while) - your hair will no doubt be the first thing to take a hit. protein Biotin is the combination that sincerely worked for me

Good Biotin pills

I've been taking biotin pills for the past few months and have seen a noticeable improvement in the health and appearance of my hair, skin, and nails. I've noticed that my hair is thicker and grows faster. My skin is clearer and has a more youthful appearance. My nails are stronger and less prone to breaking. The pills are also very easy to take, they are small and easy to swallow. The packaging is also very convenient, making it easy to take with me on the go. The price is also very reasonable. However, I noticed some side effects like acne breakout and increase in body hair. But it's not a big deal and the benefits of taking biotin are worth it. WARNING ***Please DO NOT injest “biotin” from China!

I hope that my review is read by people considering purchasing this supplement. Vitamins and supplements aren't regulated in the USA so manufacturers are able to put the smallest microgram of biotin into a capsule along with a bunch of other ingredients and tell you it's all biotin. Think about that. If they're not regulated, what exactly is being shipped from overseas from countries that already don't care about quality? I took the bait, I believed the reviews after taking the same USA biotin for years I couldn't help but wonder "Is there a better product out there?". The answer is NO. I took these supplements for two weeks. I got a blister on the inside of my bottom lip that wouldn't go away. It wasn't a cold sore, it was a weird, painful lump. Also my fingertips started to tingle and hurt which was a weird sensation. After I put two and two together I immediately ceased taking the supplement from China and within 24 hours the blister went away. My fingertips still feel weird but, because I have psoriasis of the nails, I cannot say with 100% accuracy that it was from the strange biotin. People please, buy all the junk you want that's made in China but don't trust supplements or vitamins. I would definitely try this version Of biotin!!!!!

I really do love this product, I've been using this product for about a month now and I can tell the difference in the new growth with my strands that broke off from wearing a ponytail for so long when I went on a cruise not to long ago. My nails are much stronger which is helpful because I'm a housekeeper. The vitamin is really honestly the smallest pill I've taken and I love that. There's no nasty after taste, in fact no taste at all. Thumbs up to Amazon for this version of biotin. I don't see myself going to buy a different product and btw I have fine coily hair, so again I'm very surprised with the awesome results I see

this works extremely well, but is dehydrating

knocked off one star only because this stuff is dehydrating. you will have to drink a lot more water than normal (which is also important for the health of your skin). for my hair, this created a lot of new growth especially around my hairline. my curls look healthier when i am taking it daily. however, you also have to take good care of your hair in every other way. when i started lightening my hair and using heat (diffuser) it did become damaged. i would recommend going full natural hair with your routine, not just using biotin on its own. and drink LOTS of water

Very happy w/this purchase

So I had to wait to see if I noticed a difference and YES I HAVE!! I was trying to post before and after pics,but my storage is full (sorry!). When I ordered these I stopped using the cleanser that I was using to wash my face and I take other vitamins,but these vitamins are for specifics which they worked great on. My nails have grown,my skin is noticeably different (smoother,clearer and not dry) and I'm most excited about my hair. It has grown and I can see the growth. I am so happy! Before I began taking them I did things like went and got my hair washed and blow dried then got all of the dead split ends cut off. These pills work! And my hair isn't even dry looking anymore. I'm very pleased because I know that they are actually working. I wear a wrap that swings around my neckline and my hair has grown. Just be consistent and take before and after pics and possibly get rid of dead ends off of your hair,if you have any. I haven't used any flat irons or anything else

Worth it!

I waited to write this so I can give an accurate review. Within two weeks I started to feel a difference in my hair. My hair felt thicker. Within 6 weeks my hairdresser noticed my hair was thicker and healthier. My nails were hard and growing without splitting. It's been almost 4 months and my hair is the same thickness and healthiest it's been since I was a teenager. I color my hair and I use heat to style. I take one pill a day and my hair gets compliments and I'm extremely happy with the volume. This is totally worth it

Helped my postpartum hair loss!!

I have kept this in rotation in my daily supplement intake as i have truly seen such an improvement after having my baby. This plus your daily vitamins has my hair length past my hips and I am only 5'0. These don't leave an after taste and very small therefore you shouldn't have a problem taking it at all. Also Great price for great quantity. Must buy for hair growth! **Pls like my comment if I helped you
