An excellent product in very poor packaging
This is an excellent product!. A dose of unoxidized product will ward off any cold you feel coming on and will very quickly help to get over the cold. The big problem with this product is the packaging. Anything packaged in plastic will oxidize rather quickly, but this product oxidizes extremely quickly. After opening, it will turn brown in a matter of days. I always transfer the contents to an empty Pines Wheat Grass bottle as that product is in glass with a very tight seal. Peanut butter jars in glass with a seal in the cap also work. The last two plastic tubs I purchased from Amazon had already started to turn brown even though the expiration date was 2021. This is probably probably due to Amazon not providing enough air conditioning in their warehouse or UPS shipping in hot trucks. Again, this is an excellent product. The fact it oxidizes and turns brown so quickly actually points out to how potent it is. I do not recommend using the product after it turns brown. It is very important to get it out of the plastic tub as soon as you can. I don't know why they use such poor packaging for such an excellent product, but I don't understand why ANY company would package in plastic due to the rapid oxidation that takes place, let alone that plastic pollution is taking over the planet and getting worse every year. I hate buying this in plastic, but until the company wakes up to how fast their product oxidizes in plastic, there is not much I can do. The containers of anything purchased in plastic will be around for thousands of years. Plastic can only be recycled once and even then, you are adding to the pollution. Any product in plastic loses value very quickly. I always purchase products in glass if possible. It is non toxic and if the caps have a seal in them, the product will stay fresh infinitely longer than any product packaged in those cheap plastic tubs by companies that don't care about pollution or product quality. It is sad when good products are packaged so poorly just to make money for a company that doesn't care about quality
