I gave myself a good inch and a half long cut all the way to the bone. I lost about 8 ounces of blood before I got a clean towel on it. My wife was loading the kids in the car to take me for stitches, but I tried this first. It stung and burned like crazy, but the bleeding stopped in 2 seconds and clotted up nicely. A few days later, I scraped the Wound Seal clot off, poured iodine all over it, dried it off, and super glued it shut. No infection, no scar

Works well for my elderly father

My father is elderly and has assorted medical concerns. One is that he's on dialysis, and blood-thinners, and the places where needles are injected for dialysis sometimes bleed extensively after he is finished with a session. It gets messy quickly, and it's very hard to stop the bleeding effectively. I got him some of this powder--and he says it does the trick quite well. No complaints about skin irritation or other possible side-effects

A must for people on blood thinners

With my blood so thin, I can cut myself and not even be aware of it. This products works instantly and stops minor bleeding while helping to form a seal to help the cut to start healing. I keep it in the garage and in my truck just in case! Really worth it

This is something everyone should add to their first aid kit. A sprinkle of the powder instantly seals cuts. My son had a severe knife cut on the tip of his finger & this product instantly sealed it. You just place a dressing over it & leave it undisturbed until the cut heals, then it'll just fall off. If for any reason the cut rebleeds just apply more of the powder & redress

Stops bleeding almost immediately

This is not for large gaping cuts but smaller, deeper cuts it works immediately. I cut the top of my finger off and a neighbor who is also an EMT used this on my finger. worked like a charm. Everyone should have this preparation in a first aid kit! Works almost immediately. It looks like sand...then hardens up

I glued magnets to the plastic box and put these on several tools in my woodshop, keeping them right at hand! I've had to use these several times for cuts. They seal the wound quickly and stop the bleeding. I liked these so much I sent a set to my son to keep in his woodshop

WORKS WELL

SLIPPED W/ A VERY SHARP SYTHE, SLICED OPEN THE BACK OF MY FINGURE, KNEW IT WAS BAD PUT PRESSURE & HEADED FOR THE HOUSE FOR THIS STUFF. NEVER TRYED IT BEFORE WDID NOT KNOW IT WAS POWDER POURED SOME IN THE WOUNL[ 1'' LONG 3MM WIDE & DEEP ENOUGH TO HIT THE MUSCLE JUST MISSED THE TENON CLOTTED WITHIN A COUPLE OF SECONDS. BLOOD FLOW- DEAD STOP! STINGS A BIT BUT BEATS BLEEDONG ALL OVER THE PLACE LEFT IT ON FOR 3 DAYS & REDRESSED THE CUT NEEDED STICHES BUT -NO ER W/ THE VIRUS SO JUST USED THIS & CLEAN BANDAGE EVERY DAY TOOK 3 WEEKS TO HEAL BUT NO INFECTION OR OTHER PROBS NOT SURE HOW I WOULD HAVE STOPPED THE BLEEDING WITHOUT THIS VERY GLAD I HAD IT! NOW HAVE SOME IN KITCHEN WORKSHOP BARN & HANDY INSIDE THE BARN DOOR. MONEY VERY WELL SPENT HOPE I DON'T NEED IT AGAIN BUT I THINK IT'S IRREPLACEABLE. MUST HAVE BLOOD CLOTTER

I got it just in case,why not. I've been painting the inside of my house and I'm kinda accident prone.Any hoo I slipped on the floor tarp and went to catch myself and my left hand went through the window.I put it on my cut in my hand and I will say,I'll be damned. It worked well it says keep compression for 30 seconds it was around 15 ish. Worked fantastic. David.MDugalin.The reason I got it it in the first place is because I am an avid and I might also add sane prepped.Trust the person you don't knowðŸ¿ðŸ™‚Any way hope you don't have to use it but it truly worked.

I used it once and years of capillary nose bleeds stopped

So far so good. For years I've had a capillary nose bleed that just never healed and I was sick of bleeding all over everything every few days. I bought the powder just to be able to put a quick end to the more massive bleeds, but after using it once they haven't come back for weeks! Fingers crossed, but even if they do the powder instantly stops the bleeding and there is no or minimal scabbing to cause a recurrence. I even messed up putting it on, and only got a few grains in my nose. Works as intended? Works better than intended

Stop the bleeding!

I use a blood thinner after having surgery. If I bang my arm against something and break my skin it bleeds, and is almost impossible to stop. At home I have ways to handle the issue, but at work I had nothing till someone told me about this stuff. I now carry one in my pocket and have already used it. Pouring a bit on the wound stops the bleeding fast and safely. Its a sealed tube with the clotting powder inside. It gives me time to get advanced care for my small wounds, without having blood all over the place. If your on a thinner I highly recommend buying some to carry with you. Its not a solution for final care, but it gives you time to get care
