Nice product, smells good!

I have used the product several times. I have Berber carpeting and its difficult to remove the dirt from traffic build up in entrance ways. I believe the product works best with my Bissell carpet steamer but wished it could lift a little more dirt in the entrance ways. I don't think its the product, its my Olefin Berber rug that's the problem. Have had the rug professionally cleaned and if I had to compare, when I clean the rugs, I think this cleaner is just a little better. Berber is a tight weave and the rug will last forever. Its just not easy to clean. I've given it 4 stars only because my rug isn't 100% clean in all areas

Works like the pros

This product worked to get out blood splatter and on another occasion pond mud from my brand new off white carpets. Thought for sure I'd have to call a professional for the blood but I didn't. The sent is not as pleasant as some of the other product but seriously who cares when it cleans better than the rest. I use the regular Bissel multi-purpose when I want to refresh my carpets butt when I need pro like cleaning I use the deep clean formula

Eco-friendly ‘oxy' adds nothing to cleaning power

In November of 2011 Amazon Vine gifted me with a BISSELL Lift-Off Full Sized Carpet Cleaner, 94Y2 which I have grown to love for shampooing carpets, cleaning up pet messes and cleaning upholstery. I use it frequently, only using Bissell Deep Clean solutions, but this is the first time I've used one with 'oxy' in it. I had high hopes that it would be a step up from the others on old pet stains (vomit, blood and urine), but alas, not so much. For a test, I used this product on three spots on the Berber carpet in my home. The first spot was pre-treated with: BISSELL Pet Stain & Odor Pretreat for Carpet & Upholstery, 22 ounces, 0790A and then shampooed with this product. At first I thought the combination was stellar, but then as the area dried the old spot came back again. The second spot I didn't get sprayed with any pre-treat, and it too had the reappearance of a stain spot following being shampooed and dried. The third area I pre-treated and shampooed in two complete cycles. Pre-treating and shampooing the same area twice. It looked the best out of all three spots. My conclusion about this 'oxy' solution is that it's a fresh smelling bio-degradable detergent that does clean carpets in a Bissell upright or handheld steam cleaner, but the addition of 'Oxy' seems to add nothing to the power of this product. I regularly use this solution to achieve good results in my Bissell Deep Clean machine: BISSELL 2X Professional Deep Cleaning Formula, 48 ounces, 78H63 or this kit: BISSELL Pet Deep Cleaning Formula Kit for Upright Deep Cleaning, 1033 . Unless this 'oxy' product was priced less than the other forumulas, and I could get it with a bottle of pre-treat for the same price, I'd not use it again. I like that it's made in the USA and bio-degradable. Kudos to Bissell! I'm just not sold on the cleaning power of this product to meet the needs of a household with three dogs, and three messy people. It's just "OK" so I give it 3 out of 5 stars. PRO's: Made in USA Biodegradable, eco-friendly option. Fresh scent. CON's: - Does not permanently remove tough stains. At least not old ones, but may (like most cleaners) work better on new stains. - Other solution options from Bissell work better. Per the Bissell website product description: -Uses oxy action technology to permanently remove tough stains. - Eliminates tough ground in dirt, stains and odors. - Cleans with the power of Oxy. - Safe for use in all full size deep cleaning machines when used as directed. - Made in the USA. - Earth friendly formula. Contains no heavy metals, phosphates or dyes. Biodegradable detergents

Works Well with the Bissell SpotClean Portable Carpet Cleaner Machine

I bought this to use in my Bissell SpotClean portable carpet cleaner machine even though it was not listed as a compatible device. But the machine came with a small bottle of the same type cleaner that was 4x, while this is 2x, so I figured it should work. It's not real clear how much to add so I sort of went on the low side to use for cleaning a recliner chair that was generally dirty with a few spots/stains which you can see in the pictures. The chair came out great. I needed to go back over it a second time once it dried to get the stained areas cleaned, but that is more about not being able to tell how well it looked when it was still wet. The chair came out great though. I also used it to clean some spots on some low pile Berber type carpet and it took them out too no problem. I give a lot of the credit to the machine itself which is awesome, but it need to be paired with the right solution to get the job done and I am confident this stuff worked it's magic. And I did not need to use very much so this big bottle will last me along time. I really can't say much about the "Oxy" supplement as I did not compare it to the non-Oxy type cleaner. Overall though it was money well spent and now I have a good supply to last me a long time. If I run across some stains that this does not get out which it is supposed too, I will update this review. For right now though and based on how I used it, I can recommend this cleaner for use in the Bissell SpotClean Professional Portable carpet cleaner and probably other supported machines too

Use in carpet cleaners

Container says for upright vacuums but I used it in my Bissell 3624 SpotClean Pro and it worked great. Got years-old chocolate milk stain out of vehicle upholstery with ease

MIRACLE CLEAN!!!

I can only think of one way to describe this stuff- LIFE-CHANGING!!!! Tenacious toddler tornado circling the carpeted areas in your home? This is the product for you! I wasn't expecting much, and I went in to it with sthe mindset that some spots couldn't be saved, simply because they were SO bad! Boy, was I wrong! Not a single stain left in my home (*knock on wood*). Deep cleaning doesn't accurately depict the performance. More like MIRACLE cleaning. Enjoy

Revived my cream carpet!

So when we built our house, we picked cream carpet. I don't know why nobody warned me about the dirt, and why I didn't think of it myself, but alas, 3 years into having cream carpet, I was desperate for something to revive it. My Mom recommended trying Bissell brand, as that's what she uses on her carpets, so I ordered this one with the Oxy Clean additive. I was super impressed with how well it actually lifted dirt and stains out of the carpet, especially in my step-sons room. It seriously revived our carpet. Several months later after purchasing it, right before I went into the hospital to have my son, my step-son fell asleep with a jumbo chocolate caramel strawberry and banana smoothie full right next to him. My curious cat decided she wanted to try some of it, and literally dumped the entire canister onto the floor. It seriously looked like someone had an accident on the carpet. I pulled out my trusty Bissell cleaner, and after 3 separate cleaning sessions, it pulled all of that nasty brown stain out of the carpet! I couldn't believe it! So for this one, I highly recommend it

Great Results

This is a great carpet cleaner for white carpets. I've used a few different types of Bissell carpet cleaners and find the Deep Clean to be the most effective. Others are good for specific pet related stains but this one is just a good deep clean for revitalizing your carpet

Best stain remover I have found.

Checked with the brand website and then Amazon. Was at a lower price on Amazon. I love this exact product for getting ground in tough stains mostly comes completely out. Some still slightly their but hard to see. This product so far is the best for getting stains out in upright carpet shampoo use. Highly recommend this produc
