This isn't my first blender bottle. I have the older sportmixer an it works jux fine, but I wanted more than one so I got the new sportmixer, which is more lean proof, not that the old one ever leaked on me at all, but the reassurance of the twist cap is nice. The markings on the side are the same an tell me where to fill. Clear an easy to read. I feel like you should not get this bottle if your not a fan of washing dishes. I will say that hand washing ensures the best clean from all the crevices and you will read other comments about this so be warned. If your that lazy don't buy, but I don't mind, as the dish washer is jux storage for me. Overall I like the small compactness of this bottle, my shake is the salted caramel and cookies and cream by IdealShape shakes an you only need 1 scoop for 8oz. If your protein or meal replacement requires more water, get a bigger bottle, but if not, this one is small an compact allowing more space in your lunch pale. If your in the market for something small, light weight, compact, simple, and leak proof, definitely grab this one. Only draw back is there is only a few colors, as opposed to the old sportmixers that had more color options

My favorite BlenderBottle so far

When you receive your bottle, remove the lid IMMEDIATELY and inspect the white rubber "o-ring". Mine was not seated in the track, so I pushed it in there before washing and using the first time. I can imagine the nightmare of using this leakproof bottle without the rubber gasket in place. I've use my bottle for a day (will update after more use). So far, it addresses the issues I have with the Radian and the Classic bottles. PROS: 1. The textured grip allows me to hold the bottle securely and remove the lid without struggle. 2. The drinking cap design allows easy open and close without the I-thought-it's closed-but-it's-actually-leaking situation. 3. The part of the lid that folds out as a handle during transport, but hides out of the way is amazing. MINOR CONS: 1. Since the "neck" of the bottle (area of the textured grip) is slightly narrower than the rest of the bottle, it is difficult to wash the inside of the bottle with your hand. My hands are small, but I recommend using their brush (sold separately). I think the narrowed neck is actually comfortable for holding and drinking, so I don't consider this a flaw, just something to note. 2. While other reviews have mentioned the bottom of the bottle being too narrow and easy to knock over, I haven't experienced the same. In fact, this bottle doesn't fit all the way into my car's cup holder because of the bottom width, while my stainless steel Radian bottle does. While I would have liked the bottom of the bottle to be a few millimeters smaller, I understand why the company didn't do it that way. *** I've only used this bottle for water, so I can't speak to the protein drink mixing/dispensing aspect

Great bottle for making protein shakes

I love this product. It is easy to fill with a wide mouth that makes it simple to scoop protein powder into, the little blender ball drops in easily, and it works pretty well. I usually use whey protein and milk, but have also added a tablespoon of peanut butter to my protein shakes and the blender ball is able to break it up smoothly. No clumping of powder and it ends up smoothly mixed without much work. It is easy to clean (I use a bottle brush at the end of the day, but after use I just put a couple drops of dish soap in and shake the bottle the way I do to mix a shake). Rinse it out. And it's perfectly clean. So much easier than using a blender or a tool with a blade. The cap screws down tightly and is smooth to operate. It can accomodate a straw, but is easy and comfortable to drink from directly. It doesn't leak and I have carried it in my backpack without any concerns

Wanted to Love It

I had it for just shy of 6 months. I've had several Blender Bottles over the years, all various styles. This was my 1st time trying this particular style. Let me tell you. It is an utter NIGHTMARE to clean. The rubber/silicone seals are next to impossible to remove & were getting worn out very quickly. But I managed. After almost 6 months. The lid molded, BAD. Beyond salvaging. I always rinse & fill with soapy water as soon as I'm done. Washed by the time I go to bed. My protein powder is a bit thick so it “hardens” like oatmeal if it's not rinsed, no matter what I drink it from. The lid is also a bit challenging to open & FULLY close. It was truly leak proof so that's a huge plus. I also liked the curve to the bottle. I ended up having to throw it away (so sorry Mama Earth). I purchased a Blender Bottle ProStak. Again. No rubber seals. Still 100% leakproof. Lid is much easier to open & fully close. I have joint issues so that's very important. Overall. I love this brand. I just can't recommend this style. If they'd give it a better lid, maybe I could. The ProStak is by far my favorite style & the one I'll stick with. :

Ehh..

I read all the comments and there were too many bad for my liking however, I went ahead and ordered it bc I really needed a new blender bottle. Right out of the box it was in good condition. It's exactly as it's supposed to be. I made a protein shake and it mixed pretty well, no leaking, no spilling. In my opinion the I like the screw cap. ******Update****** Same Day. The screw cap is an absolute hassle. The first time I used the cup I had no problem probably because it was brand new not used much yet. Once I started using it I noticed the screw cap would get harder to open and close and it's honestly a pain.. so sad bc it's a good size cup and I really love the style but that cap alone is making it so not worth it.. I would look at just buying the normal ones with a click cap.

Fav bottle of all time!

I love everything about this bottle! It's light, fits my shake perfectly, and has a narrow grip section for easy holding. The twist on cap is great to make sure it doesn't leak in my bag. I use this bottle 2x a day and it's holding up perfectly. Definitely recommend over other blender bottle

So far so great

I use these for pretty much the same as everyone else. They are a convenient size, easy to hold and no leaks (just make sure that the cap is tightened before shaking). I put them (smoothies) in the freezer overnight and use them as the “ice” for my lunch bag. Really easy to clean if you remember to put water in it right after you have finished your drink. Textured grippy silicone strip will hold smoothie residue if you don't do a quick scrub of it before putting it in the dishwasher or setting it out to dry

Just Right

Play Video Compact Size. Easy to hold. Mixed protein shake easily and thoroughly. No clumps. Leak proof. Easy twist top. Top rack dishwasher safe. Would buy again

Made well but

I bought two of these and been using them every day for about two weeks. They are made well, clean in the dishwasher well and fit in car cup holders. My only complaint is the opening in the lid. That has to be closed and screwed shut perfectly. If you don't align the screw portion of the tracks perfectly, everything spills as you shake the contents. Unfortunately, the groves on the screw portion don't easily match up. So, I have spilled several times. If you take the time to ensure the top is not only close but screwed correctly, the product works great

Use this bottle everyday ðŸ¥¤

Bottle is very handy for me. I use it to mix my probiotics and collagen powder everyday. Once I mix it shake it and I take it with me on the go. It's leak proof. Only problem I have with it is sometimes when I twist it to close sometimes I think it's close and it's not and when I shake it then I get a mess everywhere but that could be avoided by just double checking that it's closed properly
