No way! Really!?
Update: 6/20/13 I knew it was too good to be true, this has sucralose in it which is also known as Splenda and Acesulfame Potassium, an artificial sweetner. They are listed at the almost bottom of the ingredient list, and the grams of sugar listed is 2 grams, which would mean 1/4 tsp of both substances as 1 gram = 1/4 tsp. Although this seems like a small amount, I don't think I would like to know the affects of 1/2 tsp of sweetner consumed daily. I am going to finish off this bottle, but I am not going to repurchase this. I would like anyone to challenge the affects of Splenda, it is claimed to be a molecule of sugar and specifically table sugar that has been chlorinated, and we all know chlorine is potentialy a health hazard itself, my poor bf's stepdad worked with a lot of bleach and chemicals and ended up getting Multiple Myeloma, whethor or not chlorine caused his illness is unknown, but that is the only explanation the family has chosen based on meeting other people with the same Cancer, who have worked with chemicals, especially in labs and other chemistry research fields. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think this protein shake is too good to be true!! I had to read the ingredients 3 times to find any hidden things I would think made this protein shake taste so good. All I could find were corn syrup solids, and cocoa processed with alkali. Still though, maybe they just put Nesquik in here and then slapped on a label making it a "protein" shake. I'm pretty sure they didn't but then again FDA doesn't regulate supplements or any health food type stuff so who knows. But this tastes soo amazing!! I got this home yesterday and decided to taste it before my workout, I mixed it up with just WATER and took a small sip. Whoa I though, it's pretty tasty, but it was room temperature so I decided to put it in the freezer and drink it after my workout. I thought about this drink my ENTIRE workout!! Everytime I would change sets, my mind would gravitate towards the great tasting chocolaty drink I had in my freezer and I thought about taking a break a few times to drink it. But I didn't and I got to it after my workout, it started to form ice crystals and it was a little frothy. Oh man did it taste good! I have yet to find anything that actually tastes GOOD when you mix water and chocolate! Like swiss miss cocoa powder or any kind of hot chocolate mix, I just never mix those with water, EVER because I absolutley despise when water and chocolate are mixed together I always always opt for milk! I can't imagine how good it would taste with milk! And that's whats so great about this protein shake, you don't need milk, you mix it with water, freeze it a little, tastes like a milkshake! Or you could probably blend it with ice cubs and make it thick and more like milk shake consistency. Anyways, all the reviews about this drink were right on! If your looking to try this stuff and are reading the reviews here on amazon, I tell you, these reviewers aren't lying, this really does taste that good!
