Sea buckthorn oils reduce gastric ulcers
We examined the effects of sea buckthorn oil on gastric ulcers in controlled rat models. Through careful experimentation, we observed that both CO(2)-extracted seed and pulp oils significantly reduced ulcer formation, particularly in water-immersion and reserpine-induced models.

Furthermore, lower doses also showed promise by decreasing ulcer severity and accelerating healing in other models. Overall, these findings indicate that sea buckthorn oils may offer both preventive and therapeutic benefits against gastric ulcers.

We tested the effects of a hexane extract from sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) on ulcers caused by indomethacin and stress.

The findings were encouraging, demonstrating that this extract may help prevent gastric injury.

Overall, the results suggest that sea buckthorn could be a beneficial option for those dealing with ulcer-related issues.

Sea buckthorn aids ulcer healing
We investigated the impact of sea buckthorn procyanidins (SBPC) on healing acetic acid-induced ulcers in rats. The study involved treating rats with varying concentrations of SBPC after inducing ulcers.

Over 7 and 14 days, we observed a significant reduction in ulcer size and an increase in epidermal growth factor levels in the plasma. Furthermore, markers that indicate tissue repair were enhanced in the most treated group.

This suggests that SBPC may effectively accelerate healing processes in chronic gastric ulcers.

Heartburn relief

I suffered from heartburn for 18 years and took antacid daily. One day, I realised I hadn’t needed them lately. The only change was taking Omega 7 for about four months. I discovered it helps coat the stomach and prevent heartburn, similar to its effect on ulcers. I can now enjoy spicy food without worry. I take four pills daily of Sea Buckthorn, and I feel heartburn-free!

Sea buckthorn oil effectively aids ulcers
We explored the use of therapeutic endoscopy combined with hippophae oil in treating chronic gastroduodenal ulcers. In a study involving 116 patients, we observed that nearly all patients showed positive healing outcomes, with ulcers healing and scars forming in 115 cases. Remarkably, adding hippophae oil reduced the length of hospital stays by 1.5 to 2 times. The long-term results highlighted the treatment's high efficacy, achieving a success rate of 93.7%.

Sea buckthorn shows antiulcer activity
We explored the effects of beta-sitosterol-beta-D-glucoside and its aglycone, found in sea buckthorn oil, on gastric ulcers in rats. Utilizing two models—chronic acetic acid-induced and cold stress-induced ulcers—we found that both compounds exhibited significant antiulcer properties.

In the case of chronic ulcers, their effectiveness rivaled that of wishupin and cimetidine. Interestingly, the aglycone showed superior benefits compared to the glucoside. For cold stress-induced ulcers, the glucoside also demonstrated notable effects, unlike the control treatment.

Calms stomach ulcers

I prefer this product over fish oil for its health benefits. After using it for nearly two weeks, I've noticed my stomach ulcers have calmed down significantly. I'm considering growing the Sea Buckthorn tree for its excellent properties. I've also observed improved nail growth. Although I switched to a cheaper brand, it didn't provide the same benefits.
