The only reason I purchased this brand of "Ceylon Cinnamon" was due to my regular brand being out of stock temporarily. I read reviews and did my homework as I am mindful of what I put in my body and the effects associated with. Upon opening the bottle of ZHOU "Ceylon Cinnamon" today, I IMMEDIATELY noticed the scent of baking cinnamon coming from the bottle so I took a bigger whiff and sure enough it smelled like common cinnamon AKA Cassia. I then pulled out a capsule and the color seemed much darker than my regular ceylon capsules. So I took one of the last 4 remaining capsules of my regular brand and placed it next to it for comparison. ABSOLUTELY an entirely different color than it should be. I thought, well maybe it's just that the capsule is tinted. So I broke one of the ZHOU's capsules open to double check. Nope! Not a tinted capsule! So I then tasted it. Completely distributed to conclude that the smell, color, texture/consistency, & taste are NOTHING like Ceylon Cinnamon!!! This is NOT Ceylon Cinnamon as it was marketed, labeled, and fraudulently misrepresented to be! It is most DEFINITELY Cassia or common cinnamon which, if taken for long periods of time can cause serious medical issues. I am completely appauled by the unethical business practices in place by this company! If I were not as prudent of a person as I am and would've taken this daily as I have my regular brand, the potential for serious medical issues is EXORBITANT!!!! I want a refund and am probably going to sue for product liability and negligence
