Has been a miracle for my son! I've invested significantly in medications, eye drops, and nasal sprays for my son since he was four. A friend recommended Zyrtec this spring, and I'm immensely grateful. I didn't believe anything could help. His severe allergies led to swollen eyes and asthma. Zyrtec has truly given us our favourite season back! We enjoy the parks and being outdoors again. It lasts all day too, so I highly recommend it.

Behavioral issues noted

Zyrtec helped asthma, but caused tantrums. Over the past year, we found that it reduced our son's allergy symptoms; however, it significantly contributed to behavioural issues. While he needed less use of his rescue inhaler during activities like soccer, we noted increased anger and tantrums while on Zyrtec. Consequently, we opted to try Claritin, with a similar outcome. We are now testing Allegra for kids.

Medicine works well

Takes a while to melt and the taste isn't great for my son. He has a pollen allergy that triggers his asthma, making things quite uncomfortable for him at just six years old. The medicine works effectively, but he dislikes the taste and struggles with the melting process. We're persevering but may switch to the chewable kind for quicker results.
