I take Ester-C as recommended by my endocrinologist, I.Yu. Vitamin C is crucial as it washes out of the body during stress and illness. For those with gastritis or kidney stones, ordinary ascorbic acid is unsuitable due to its acidity. Ester-C has high bioavailability, is well absorbed, and doesn’t upset the gastrointestinal tract. Since I started taking it regularly, I've experienced fewer infections and feel great! Highly recommend!

You can truly feel the difference. My husband experienced kidney damage after chemotherapy, leaving his kidneys functioning at roughly 60% capacity. He has tried numerous brands of multi-vitamins, yet this is the only one that doesn't induce any kidney pain, suggesting optimal absorption. He claims that taking this multi-vitamin has notably boosted his energy levels!

This brand suited me better than others. I replaced the originally used 5000 ME with 2500 ME to prevent vitamin D deficiency, living in a very northern latitude. I noticed an improvement in my well-being with the Jarrow brand, especially initially. My sensitive kidneys have not hurt either. I did not experience the same benefits from other brands, and my kidneys had previously ached, possibly due to kidney stones.

I experienced negative kidney effects after taking just one tablet, leading to inflammation and reduced immunity. It was not what I anticipated.

After long-term use of calcium ascorbate, I developed microliths in my kidneys. This form of vitamin C should only be taken for a week at a time, with breaks in between, and I advise considering liposomal vitamin C instead. I wish I had known this sooner.
