Let me preface my review by saying that my son has had constipation issues since the day he started eating solids. It did not matter how high his liquid intake was, it seemed as if he was constantly battling constipation. He would strain and grunt with no luck, and on the lucky days that he was successful, his poops were very dry and hard. I made sure to feed him high fiber foods, increased his water intake, prunes, pears, yogurt etc. I tried it all, but no matter what he ate, it would produce the same results, constipation every couple of days. Finally, these little packets came into my life. I have been using a small packet in his yogurts every morning for two weeks now and let me say they have worked wonders in keeping him regular! He doesn't seem to notice that I had added it to his yogurt, I guess that's a good thing. Positives: - has kept my son regular for two weeks now (he suffered from chronic constipation) - light fruity taste (even though it says flavorless) - dissolves easily in cool liquids or foods Cons: - can be rather expensive (I guess that's the price to alleviate my son's constipation suffering!) - cannot be used in hot/warm foods (it would have been great to be able to put in soups etc) Overall, I think Culturelle has developed a great product!
