Very grateful the bucket came well sealed so there was no leakage (powder is fine). Had to order a bucket opener to get 5 gallon bucket open but once it arrived, opening was a breeze. I use it in back of cupboards, under sink, side/back doorway, near stored away linens, in corners and crevices and vacuum up after a week and reapply during bug seasons. I use outside for ants and creepy crawlers. need to reapply after rain. Use around garden - lots and lots of uses. Safe for pets and kids. Super value for money

DON'T DO IT! That is what we bought it for and it was a nightmare! It was a huge mess, did not kill the fleas, killed our Dyson vacuum cleaner and dried out everything it came into contact with (including my hair because my brush got dropped on the floor and I thought nothing of it until my hair turned into straw after using it)! Read More...I have used Earthborn Elements Diatomaceous Earth for years. I use a duster and spray the outside walls of my house and where my dogs lay in the yard. You have to dust lightly and it works better. For the dogs- I put a cup in an Old sock, tie the end off and pat them with the sock, leaving a lite duct coat on them. Helps with flees and ticks. You have to apply again after it rains. The rain wash this eco friend powder away

This stuff is “food grade” which means it is especially fine and useful around flower asks plant beds and also in chicken coops. This stuff ended up clogging my pool filter

Read More...I've written very few reviews and never a bad one, but this deserves attention, especially if you suffer from allergies to dust or have respiratory problems. Be extremely careful opening this product, even with the tool. You don't want it in your house or in your nose or eyes. Be sure to wear a mask when you open it even outdoors. Use a spoon to pour it. If you dump it around trees or use it as bedding for a bird coup use extreme caution, since it will all come out at once if you are not careful. I called the company customer service, which is a recording to leave your information and they claim they'll get back to you within one business day.They never did. One of the supervisors at Amazon was not very nice when I told him about this, saying that I needed proof of all this, even though I didn't request a refund. I'm immensely disheartened. Just thought I'd warn you in spite of all these s stars reviews. I still think that Diatomaceous earth is an amazing product, but be careful opening a full bucket of it. Read More...Killed my bedbugs in less than a week BUT I continued to treat areas (sprinkle, vacuum then steam carpet) over two month period because better safe than sorry. Now I use it on the interior basement walls as well as exterior ground level to keep many bugs at bay. I also sprinkle it onto my plants to help them grow and drank nightly to detox myself. Gotta love that it can thoroughly kills pests but help plants and me
