I have to say I am completely amazed! I started using Differin gel about 18 months ago after reading an article touting Differin Gel as a powerful anti-aging product. For several years I have been very upset about how my neck has been aging. Since the price point for Differin is so reasonable, I decided to give it a try. I have been using it daily ever since. Well, this morning I was deleting pictures from my phone and stumbled across the first picture one from May 2020 (several months before I started using Differin). To say that I was shocked to see the difference is an understatement!! I knew my neck had improved, but until I stumbled upon this photo, I didn't realize how dramatic the difference was. The second photo is from this morning - almost 2 years later. All I can say is WOW!! Thank you Differin! I also have to add that I have a very simple skink care regime. On my face, neck and chest all I use is Differin and an all over body lotion

Add benzoyl peroxide ointment.

Been using Differin for 14 weeks. The purge was REAL for the first few weeks. I finally started seeing results then, BAM pimple face again. I even broke out on my forehead and I never really break out in that area. I wanted to thug it out for at least 12 weeks since that is what everyone suggested. At the 12 week mark, I was still breaking out. I did some research and found that you can combine the adapalene with benzoyl peroxide. I tried it and the break outs instantly went down. I apply the tiniest amount on top of the Differin, focusing on my problem areas. I've been doing it for 2 weeks now and my skin is looking GOOD! If you're not seeing results, try adding benzoyl peroxide ointment to your regimen

Using this for anti aging and melasma.

This gives my skin a radiance without the harshness of regular Retin A (which I love but it was so expensive and I didn't want to order from overseas anymore.) I tested a tube of this first. I really liked the texture and gentleness of this. Yet it seems as effective as Retin A. and much more effective than retinol. so I've ordered the pump version and I love it even more. It dispenses so nicely...no more weird wonky tubes to deal with. I apply a pea size amount about 5 times a week. Also rotating w a mild glycolic acid and other serums. My hyper pigmentation has improved a lot after 3 months, my skin is glowing and the pores have shrunk. Still a ways to go after decades of skin damage. I wish I had discovered this sooner

Changed my skin within 4 weeks

This product has changed my skin and I'm so grateful. I've tried so many things. Growing up I had acne prone skin then as I became an adult my acne went away. Out of no where I started getting acne and really bad acne that hurt and just seemed to get worse and worse. I tried this product based off reviews and after only one month out of three that is recommended , I am so happy with the results. The first week I used in the morning and at night. After one week I noticed it was helping clear up some but drying my skin out so the next week I started using only at night and followed with a mostorizor. Then I decided to get the differn cleanser to use in conjunction with the gel because I heard they work well together so The 3rd week I started using it in the morning and at night followed by mosistorizor. Finally the forth week cleanser , morning and night gel followed with moisturizer. I'm excited to see what 2 more months can do for my skin. Buy and just see for yourself. Much Better than the Tube Version

I've used Differin gel for years and was thrilled when it came off prescription and hit the over the counter market - this has allowed the company to branch out into different areas, packaging, etc, which means more choices for consumers. I've always had the Differing tubes, and this pump option is fantastic. It dispenses the correct amount, and I don't have the #TubeStuggles of the olden days which includes the tube being too inflexible to squeeze out the last drops - an issue when I had to pay higher prices and have a prescription. I'm mainly focused on the pump as a dispensing option with this purchase since I reviewed the actual formulation of Differin before, but I will say that the adapalene gel is a great option for acne treatment - I'm in my mid 40's and unfortunately still need it now and then. It is in the same class as retinoids, but without the peeling, sensitivity of others in the class, including Retin-A, etc. I've used it since it came out as a new acne treatment decades ago, and it was one of the only prescriptions that helped keep my acne under control - I never needed oral medications as it wasn't so severe, just persistent. I've never had any flaking, stinging or sensitivity with Differin, unlike other acne medications. Differin doesn't cure acne, but it absolutely controls mine when applied consistently at bedtime. The pump dispenser is a welcome option

DO IT

Alright after 3 months of continued use I never thought I'd see the day where my skin cleared up, but hallelujah the day has come!!! I definitely went through a purge, my skin completely broke out got a little better and then got worse again and now it is clear! STICK WITH THE PROCESS ITS WORTH IT!! stay strong you are beautiful even if you have acne :) *also watch dr dray on your tube she saved my skin and I have never understood skin care more

I'm glowing and pimple free!

After struggling with painful, hormonal acne after having my son, I was desperately in search of something to help. Enter Differin. I applied a pea sized amount every evening before bed on top of moisturizer for the last 90 days. My skin has seen dramatic improvement. I have no active break outs and if a pimple comes in, it's gone in a few days. I've notice considerably less redness, irritation and swelling. I still have acne scars but my skin is glowing! If you're reading this review, go ahead and click “add to cart”, you won't regret it. Give it the full 90 days. It may get worse before it gets better but this product has definitely made it better

This saved my skin!!

I have oily skin, and used to get a lot of small, painful white heads. I ran out of my prescription for Tretinoin (a retinol for acne and/or anti aging) so my acne came back. Differen (Adapalene 0.1%) is similar to Tretinoin 0.05% and sold over the counter. I watched Dr. Dray's YouTube video on how to apply it, because Differin can be irritating. You can't mix it with salicylic acid or other strong active ingredients. I followed her instructions and saw results within a month. Basically, (1) use a gentle cleanser, (2) apply a thick moisturizer, (3) use Vaseline on the side of your eyes, lips, and nostrils to prevent irritation (4) apply a pea sized amount of Differin to the whole face, (5) wear sunscreen the next morning because Differin makes you more sensitive to the sun. If you're considering it, I highly recommend

Wow can't say enough

Cannot say enough about this productâ€"has made my skin so clear and so smooth. But as many folks state on here GO SLOW. If you ramp up too quickly it can really irritate skin. I personally started with 1 time per week for the first two weeks and gradually increased from there. Make sure to find a good moisturizer and sun screen as well. I also felt as though avoiding a cleanser in morning and just moisturizing helped as well. As with most things, especially a skin care routine, find what works best for you

AMAZING PRODUCT

This is the HOLY GRAIL of products if you suffer from acne. I've never had perfect skin, but when I turned 26 my hormones went out of control and I started getting cystic acne for the first time ever. It was the worst my skin had ever been in my life. I tried literally every salicylic acid gel, peels, masks..everything…nothing helped until I tried Differen! I have to admit, at first I was skeptical. My skin started to clear up after two weeks and then started getting worse. STICK WITH IT. Your skin will “purge” as the medication brings the deeper layers of dead skin cells and bacteria to the surface of your skin. I started seeing my skin truly clear up after about a month of consistent use. After 4 months my skin is almost completely clear except for a couple of scars that are still fading. This is truly the only product that keeps my skin clear as hormonal acne is especially resistant to typical acne creams. If I go a week without using it I will almost always get a pimple. This stuff has helped get my skin back to normal and I'll never stop using it
