Magnesium shows promise for RA treatment
We analyzed how magnesium supplementation affects the biology of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in mice. By feeding one group a diet rich in magnesium and another a standard diet over 15 days, we examined changes in their tissue responses.

Our findings revealed that increased magnesium intake may alter gene expression linked to oxidative stress and cellular aging, processes that are significant in RA development. This suggests that magnesium could be beneficial for managing RA and potentially other autoimmune disorders by reducing disease severity and joint damage.

Magnesium may reduce lupus severity
We investigated how magnesium (Mg) affects the severity of autoimmune lupus in mice. By feeding MRL/lpr female mice a standard or high magnesium diet for nine weeks, we measured impacts on skin lesions and pathogenic autoantibodies.

The results were encouraging: mice on the high magnesium diet showed significant reductions in skin issues and harmful anti-dsDNA antibodies. Plus, their immune systems displayed more regulatory T cells. However, there were no notable differences in other measured health indicators.

Overall, magnesium supplementation may be a cost-effective and safe complementary treatment for lupus.

Magnesium shows promise for NMOSD
Our investigation focused on how magnesium L-threonate might help those with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD).

We examined both mice and cultured human cells to see if long-term magnesium treatment could reduce neuroinflammation, demyelination, and strengthen the blood-brain barrier.

The results were promising; magnesium supplementation appeared to alleviate damage linked to NMOSD by improving blood-brain barrier integrity and dampening inflammation.

This suggests magnesium could be a novel approach to treating NMOSD.

Magnesium has been exceptional for my deep sleep and mental stability. After nine and a half years on prescribed sleeping pills, I was unable to find stable sleep even after stopping them. Since taking this magnesium along with vitamin D, I noticed a reduction in my anxiety about sleep and awakenings. My gastrointestinal tract is sensitive, making this high-absorption magnesium a great choice. The effects of melatonin and niacin have improved, leading to enhanced mental stability. I intend to continue using it long-term!

Great product! I ordered this for my mother, who has hypertension and often felt dizzy when lying down. After one month of taking one tablet every morning, her hypertension improved significantly, and her dizziness is nearly gone. I will certainly buy it again!

Magnesium-based therapy for RA
We explored the potential of a new magnesium-aluminum layered double hydroxide combined with nano-ceria in treating rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This innovative therapy targets the unhealthy immune environment and the harmful buildup of hydrogen ions associated with RA. By neutralizing excess acidity, we observed improved immune responses, encouraging the body to heal damaged bones. This approach showed promising results in mice models, indicating it may be a viable future treatment for managing RA effectively.

Magnesium aids arthritis through immunity
We explored the effects of a high magnesium diet on rheumatoid arthritis using two mouse models. Our findings suggest that magnesium can significantly reduce arthritis severity and joint damage, while also promoting immune cell types that help combat inflammation.

Interestingly, these benefits seem to hinge on an immune mediator called IL-10 and changes in the gut microbiome, such as increased beneficial bacteria. While our results are promising, it is important to recognize that the protective effects depend on sufficient levels of IL-10, indicating that the relationship between magnesium and immune regulation is quite intricate.

Magnesium mitigates MS-related mood issues
We investigated the impact of nanoparticulate magnesium hydride (MgH) on anxiety and depression in multiple sclerosis (MS), a disease often accompanied by these mood disorders. Our findings indicated that MgH treatment significantly improved anxiety and depression-like behaviors in mice with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE).

Additionally, MgH reduced disease severity and inflammatory damage. The proposed mechanism behind these effects involves modulation of microglial polarization and reduced oxidative stress. Thus, MgH shows promise as a potential treatment for psychiatric issues associated with MS.

I had long suffered from severe sleep disorders and managed to overcome years of psychiatric medication withdrawal using iHerb's supplements. Although my mind remained unstable at first, I began taking magnesium when I read a review, hoping for relief. This chelated form is gentle on the stomach and absorbs well. It has significantly improved my sleep onset and depth, allowing for nearly consistent rest and restoring my daily energy. The synergy with vitamin D and zinc has been amazing; I truly commend this supplement!

This form of magnesium is excellent! I began taking it during pregnancy, then paused for a year. Upon resuming, emotional and physical stress became easier to manage. After being diagnosed with a heart rhythm disorder, I use it consistently. Many of my issues have been resolved, and a high dosage worked wonders for my emotional stress. Unlike others, this magnesium doesn't cause diarrhoea.

Works brilliantly! After giving birth, I felt stressed and anxious. I read that magnesium could help, so I ordered some. I'm very pleased with my purchase! On the very first day, I slept well, and felt energised in the morning! After a week, I was full of energy and calm! My constipation has disappeared. I genuinely appreciate the effect it has! I will continue using it. So ladies, I highly recommend this magnesium urgently!

Life-changing experience

After a long search for relief from my debilitating migraines, I came upon Doctor's Best Magnesium and, after taking it, I can confidently say these are the best supplements I've ever used. Normally, I get migraines at least three weeks each month, but in the last two months, I've only experienced one mild headache. If you're a migraine sufferer like me, this could truly change your life!

Child's headache relief

I initially ordered magnesium for myself as a "sedative." While I didn't notice a definitive effect, my son’s consistent tension headaches were alleviated immediately. After starting magnesium, he hasn't complained about headaches since. We continued the regimen, and the improvement was undeniable, with no pain recurring in two months.

Adverse formulation change

Without any communication to consumers, Doctor’s Best altered the formulation and reduced the lysine and glycine content in their magnesium. They also added Silicon Dioxide, which has adversely affected those with autoimmune disorders, causing pancreatic inflammation. After using their magnesium for over four years without issues, I am disheartened by this change, which appears inconsiderate of our health concerns. I would now caution others against using this magnesium, as the added fillers could lead to serious health problems.

Better sleep

Improved Sleep And Become Less Nervous. I've been taking one tablet at bedtime for a month (even though 2 are recommended, it seems a large dose for me). I ordered due to my nerves (work-related) and poor sleep, waking several times at night for the past few months. After the first tablet, I slept soundly until morning. There are no side effects, but I need a specific amount of sleep; otherwise, I'm sleepy all day. Very pleased. I will definitely order magnesium from this manufacturer again. Before this, I had never found magnesium preparations so helpful.

Pregnancy support

Love!!! It's essential during pregnancy! When preparing my body, I discovered issues with hypertonicity, which can be managed with magnesium droppers (required hospitalisation). However, due to my neurological disorder, magnesium droppers are prohibited! After ordering this magnesium, I neglected to take it until I felt intense pressure in my stomach around four months pregnant. After a few days of taking 5-6 pills, my symptoms disappeared, the stomach relaxed, and my ultrasound showed no hypertonicity! I only had this magnesium; I'm now six months pregnant and still take it occasionally. I will order more!

Positive link between magnesium and survival
We explored the relationship between dietary magnesium intake and all-cause mortality in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) using data from the NHANES database.

Analyzing nearly 3,000 RA patients, we found that those who consumed higher magnesium levels experienced an 11.12% lower risk of death.

This benefit was particularly notable in younger individuals under 65, females, and those with a lower body mass index.

This suggests that adequate magnesium intake could play a vital role in improving survival outcomes for RA patients.
