I also apply a magnesium spray to my stomach and lower back, which provides excellent relief. I learned that magnesium citrate can provide energy but may not be suitable for those with ulcers, gastritis, or high acidity. Magnesium glycinate is better for calming effects and supports those with digestive concerns.

Having suffered from various unpleasant symptoms due to magnesium deficiency, I found this particular magnesium remarkable. It does not contain citric acid, which can provoke gastritis. I now sleep better, experience fewer constipation issues, and have lost my muscle cramps. My emotional state is also improving, making stress easier to manage.

This magnesium comes in an easily digestible form. Even with my gastritis, I did not experience any negative effects, although the tablets are somewhat large. Smaller tablets would enhance convenience considerably.

Magnesium in chelate form is known for its high bioavailability. I required magnesium due to involuntary muscle cramps, fog, and irritability associated with gastritis. I found that while magnesium citrate did not alleviate my symptoms and caused diarrhoea, the magnesium from Dr. Best worked well for my digestive system without causing any adverse reactions. However, it did not help with my sleep issues, unlike regular magnesium citrate. I plan to try magnesium glycinate next, as it offers detox benefits without the laxative effects.

Not recommended
I cannot recommend this magnesium for those with gastritis; it caused severe burning after ingestion, stomach cramps, and subsequently, diarrhoea.
