Much better floaters
I have been taking lutein for a while, and the floaters seem to be much better!
Floaters are tiny spots, lines, or cobweb-like shapes that drift around in your field of vision. They are caused by the natural aging process of the eye, particularly changes in the vitreous gel that fills the eye. As we age, the vitreous can become more liquid and form clumps, casting shadows on the retina, which we perceive as floaters. While they're usually harmless and a common experience, an increase in floaters, especially when accompanied by flashes of light or a loss of peripheral vision, could indicate a more serious condition, like a retinal tear or detachment, which requires immediate medical attention.
Most floaters are benign and don’t require treatment. They often become less noticeable over time as your brain learns to ignore them. However, if you find that your floaters are interfering with your daily life or vision, it’s a good idea to consult with an eye care professional to rule out any underlying issues. Regular eye examinations can help monitor your eye health and catch potential problems early on.
Lutein is a carotenoid pigment that belongs to the family of xanthophylls, which are oxygenated carotenoids. It is primarily found in green leafy vegetables, such as spinach and kale, as well as in other yellow or orange fruits and vegetables like corn and peppers. Lutein is best known for its role in eye health, where it acts as a protective antioxidant. It helps filter harmful high-energy blue light and is essential in the functioning of the retina. Research suggests that adequate intake of lutein may reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and cataracts, making it a crucial nutrient for maintaining good vision as we age.
In addition to its benefits for eye health, lutein also contributes to skin health, potentially offering protection against oxidative stress and improving skin hydration and elasticity. While the human body is unable to produce lutein naturally, incorporating lutein-rich foods or supplements into your diet can help maintain optimal levels. Most people can obtain sufficient lutein from a well-balanced diet. However, if you're looking to increase your intake, considering a daily supplement could be beneficial, especially for those who do not consume enough fruits and vegetables. Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement regimen.

Slight improvement
I've been using this product for about a month. My floaters, which I hoped would disappear quickly, haven't fully resolved; there's a slight improvement, but not the outcome I anticipated. I will continue taking them for another month to see if my condition improves further. The small size of the capsules is a positive; I dislike larger ones.

Very good! The instructions recommend two capsules a day, but I prefer one, paired with Omega 3 fish oil. I work on a computer daily and struggle with dry eyes and floaters, despite previous laser correction. After taking these, my eyes feel less dry. I hope for further improvements. If you appreciate my comment, please like it, thank you!

Floaters decreasing
Taking it alongside eye products, as research suggests lutein is beneficial for eyesight, seems to help. I experience floaters myself, and I've noticed that they aren't as frequent now; however, I'm unsure if this is the direct cause.

Eye protection benefit

Unlike the common lutein, this one is different in appearance but offers similar eye protection. The biggest benefit of lutein is "eye protection". I have numerous eye issues due to high myopia, including floaters and retinal holes. Therefore, I rely on lutein to maintain my eyesight daily. I reduced my dose from 20mg to 10mg and recommend taking two capsules at a time for best results. In addition to reducing screen time, which helps with eye fatigue, carotenoids like lutein truly assist but require consistency to see improvements.

Occasionally, I experience a floater like ink, but with a daily intake of about 60 mg of lutein, the symptoms lessen significantly. They typically return to normal within a week. The small capsules are easy to swallow, and taking one capsule per day feels just right.
