This study examined whether nattokinase monascus supplements could effectively lower cholesterol levels in people facing dyslipidemia. In a randomized trial with 113 participants, we noted significant reductions in total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and similar lipid markers after 120 days of using the supplements compared to a placebo.
However, we didn't see any notable improvements in triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, or carotid intima-media thickness. Importantly, participants experienced no major side effects from the treatment. Overall, while nattokinase supplements showed promise for some cholesterol levels, they did not deliver significant changes in all examined lipid factors.

Nattokinase affects hemostatic factors
The effects of nattokinase supplementation on collagen-epinephrine closure time, prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time in nondiabetic and hypercholesterolemic subjects.
We explored how nattokinase supplementation affects cholesterol levels and related hemostatic factors in individuals with high cholesterol. In a study with 100 participants, we divided them into nattokinase and placebo groups to monitor their responses over eight weeks.
We found that while there were no significant differences in initial measurements, those taking nattokinase showed notable increases in collagen-epinephrine closure time and activated partial thromboplastin time. However, these results indicate effects on hemostatic factors rather than a direct benefit to cholesterol levels.
In summary, while nattokinase appeared effective at influencing certain blood measures, it did not significantly improve overall cholesterol management.

Nattokinase, derived from the Japanese dish natto, exhibits a strong fibrinolytic effect, enhancing blood fluidity and affecting overall bodily functioning. Itās considered an excellent alternative to aspirin for maintaining blood density, contributing to heart health, normalising blood circulation, and reducing high cholesterol. I recommend it, particularly for those needing to manage health conditions.

Nattokinase is a potent enzyme absorbed into the bloodstream that enhances fluidity and provides systemic benefits. It destroys fibrinogen, aiding in blood clot prevention and cholesterol reduction among other advantages. It's a great alternative to pharmacy blood thinners, especially during a pandemic.

Blood viscosity reducer
Nattokinase is an enzyme that reduces blood viscosity, prevents heart and vascular diseases, and benefits overall health. It serves as an effective substitute for aspirin, helping to maintain normal blood density. It improves blood fluidity, resulting in better general health, thins the blood, reduces fibrin, and lowers cholesterol.
