Can Doctor's Best Vitamin D3 Help with Neuropathy?

My husband has diagnosed idiopathic small fiber peripheral Neuropathy. He's been dealing with it since 2010. There's a "supplement protocol" that supposedly significantly reduces Neuropathy pain to a more tolerable level; this supplement is on that protocol. The person who put together "the protocol' researched the least expensive & researched the most effective supplements & this one falls into that category. There are approximately 8 - 12 supplements / elements & all require being taken as specified in order to achieve pain relief results. My husband received a similar but not exactly the same supplement regimen from an in-house chiropractic clinic nutritionist. He had to quit after 3 months or so because of travel time to the clinic, $500.00 per month office visit & extremely unaffordable cost of the clinic's custom-label supplements. The current supplement protocol is extremely more affordable. It calls for weaning off of all the horrible pharmaceutical drugs & pain killers. My husband has been on the protocol for approximately four weeks. He has not experienced any noticeable pain relief. Going to give The Protocol some more time
