doTERRA Rosemary Essential Oil 15 ml

Surprisingly Good!

I was hesitant at first about these oils, having been recommended them by my mother's massage therapist for anxiety issues. I was more than pleasantly surprised when they actually worked! I took them in the morning upon waking, and at night before going to sleep, putting a dot of the oil on each wrist and then behind both ears. I found myself more calm during the day, and at night I noticed that I stopped waking up every few hours, and I also felt that I slept more deeply. The scent of it is just slightly fruity, but to me it seems much more earthy. It's not overpowering, and after half an hour or so the scent seems to be gone anyway. Overall I quite like the way it smells, but I guess that's a big part of the reason it works. After years of anxiety and many different supplements and "homeopathic" remedies, some of which worked and some which didn't, I can honestly say that the Balance Oil truly does help and I highly recommend it to anyone that has anxiety issues, or just wants a better night of sleep

Made a believer out of me!

I admit to being skeptical of this oil but I ordered it on the tiny chance the reviewers were right ... and indeed, for the first couple of days I was feeling, "ah HAH!" Just a bunch of hype! Then, during the afternoons when I'm usually a scattered wreck I found myself without that feeling of never getting anywhere quickly enough. Even walking from one room to another! If I hadn't gotten there yet, I'd be sooo anxiety-ridden! It was taking FAR too long to make it into the kitchen ... only10 feet away!!! Hard to explain except to say that those horrid panicky feelings are no longer happening. In fact I am now calm enough to do the deep breathing that I KNOW very well that my body needs in order to operate at "full throttle ahead!" ;) And if I forget to use it, it becomes quite obvious after a couple of hours into the day. I use one drop in each "arm bend" and rub my wrist into it, both morning and evening. Use caution because if you keep the bottle upside down too long, two or three drops come out. Won't hurt you but I think it's wasteful. Up to you. Oh, yes ... and I'm sleeping better!!! MUCH better! For all of these reasons above, I will be looking into other essential oils as well! Any suggestions for me

I had a wonderful experience with a great shipper and the oil is pure (paper drop tested and styrofoam tested). I only am giving it 4 stars because rosemary is not one of my favorite smells. I was expecting more of the smell of the plant, and it does smell that way when diffused, but when you smell it directly or rub it on your hand and inhale it has a very menthol, almost eucalyptus, scent. This is perfectly fine because I use it sometimes to clear up my airways or when I need a refresher! I just wanted you potential buyers to know that rosemary essential oil is a little menthol-ish! I love to diffuse a drop of it with peppermint and orange for a very energizing scent! It is a very strong and high quality oil! Remember, when you are purchasing DoTERRA products off of Amazon to select a seller who has their Wellness Advocate ID number listed! You can find this by clicking the "available from other sellers" option and as you scroll through the list of other sellers you will see some of them have "New/Unopened" descriptions and a couple have a DoTERRA ID number listed right there for everyone to see. Choose one that has that! It will save you from the risk of receiving an adulterated product which is very important, especially in oils like rosemary that can be used internally. I use my rosemary in place of actual rosemary herbs in recipes like chicken or spaghetti! Yum!!

A very nice, true-cinnamon aroma

At first I was taken aback by the seeming lack of pungency of this Cinnamon essential oil, but then I remembered: this is REAL cinnamon bark (cinnamomum verum), not the cassia (cinnamomum aromaticum cassia) that's commonly labelled as cinnamon in the USA. Just like a stick of real cinnamon bark, this essential oil has that light, clean, almost floral scent with just a touch of sweetness. Cassia oil is definitely a heavier and sharper scent, which many actually prefer; however if you want the aromatherapeutic benefits of real cinnamon bark oil, this EO is what you'll need. I have used my cinnamon EO in a recipe to imitate doTerra's On Guard blend. It's nice to dilute the blend with distilled water in a spray mister, which I then use as a sanitizing spray on tables and counter tops -- it smells like Christmas cheer in a bottle. Here is the basic blend: 20 drops clove essential oil 18 drops orange or lemon essential oil 10 drops cinnamon bark essential oil 8 drops eucalyptus essential oil 5 drops rosemary essential oil. Simply combine into a small, dark glass bottle and swirl to blend. Dilute with water or carrier oil when ready to use. If using as a spray, put approx one teaspoon of the blend into a 4 oz glass bottle with a mister pump and fill to the top with distilled water: shake before each use to disperse oils. There are a lot of uses for cinnamon bark oil due to its antimicrobial, antibacterial, antifungal, etc. properties. It is a very potent medicinal oil, and I have also heard of people using cinnamon EO to flavor their cooking and baking in place of powdered cinnamon. Keep in mind that a very little goes a long way, and that you should never apply this particular oil directly to skin -- predilute at no more than 3% in a carrier oil to avoid "burning" skin reactions

Quality

I started using this to activate my Canabadiol system which is also activated with CBD Hemp oil. Its much more cost effective and I take one drop in the morning and at night. DoTerra always has quality products. I save a lot by using this than the pricey CBD oil. I take it for inflammation primarily. It seems to be working. I need to give it a little more time to really be able to tell how effective it is

I just love the smell of Eucalyptus

I just love the smell of Eucalyptus! It reminds me of when I was a kid in Hawaii. This is so pure and so refreshing! I love to use it in my cleaning spray and to diffuse it in the living room when I'm cleaning the house. Makes everything smell so clean and pure. Remember that if you're going to buy Doterra items on Amazon to make sure to do so from a seller who has their wellness advocate number listed or is willing to provide you with it

I must say I was a little hesitant to order Doterra off of Amazon after reading some reviews and horror stories about getting fake or diluted Doterra from vendors trying to make a buck. I had initially added all the Doterra products I wanted to my cart without considering this. After thinking about it, I went back through each item in my cart and selected the seller from the "available from these other sellers" list who had listed their Wellness Advocate license number and I am super happy I did because I received this and others all in their sealed, perfect, delicious, wonderful greatness! Great Blend for Epilepsy

I usually get all my oils from Healing Solutions or Eden's Garden, because Healing Solutions' oils are superior; however, this is one blend I won't compromise on. My friend turned me on to essential oils, particularly DoTERRA, and actually gave me the rest of her Balance blend and I just fell in love with it. The best part about this blend is that it's good for grand mal seizures/seizures. My mother-in-law has a very rare kind of epilepsy that goes beyond grand mals, so I wanted to see if this would help for her. I bought this along with a diffuser necklace, because the damage that her seizures have done to her brain would prevent her from truly being able to figure out how to deal with an actual diffuser and I felt the necklace would be easier for her to manage and keep close to her for aroma therapy. I also made her a roller ball diluted with hemp oil. She says that she can actually feel a difference and she's not feeling as stressed as she usually is. She also LOVES the smell...as do I! She's feeling more confident, and my husband says that she's even talking better and sounds more lucid, which is very unusual for her. I highly recommend this blend for those who have suffered great traumas in their lives, or suffer from brain injuries through diseases like epilepsy

This was recommended to me by a company that has a weight loss program requiring intermittent fasting. This is food grade and they recommend adding a few drops to coffee in the morning and postponing the first meal until noon. After a week, I think this really did help regulate my blood sugar during the morning fast. I now use it just about every morning and also add some cardamom and clove making it a chai coffee. No more growls and no more shaky feeling LOL

Absolutely LOVE this blend. I decided to purchase this after a yoga class, in which the instructor used this oil in class and I absolutely fell in love with it. I came home and ordered it that very night and I have been using it at bedtime to destress every night since then. It smells very fresh, but woody and earthy at the same time and just sweet enough. Has spruce, ho wood, frankincense, blue chamomile and blue tansy essential oils. Super comforting and relaxing and helps put me right to sleep at night and promotes tranquility and complete relaxation to help sleep more deeply. I have noticed less frequent sleep interruptions and as a result, I wake up feeling well rested and ready to take on the day. My favorite way to use it is to put a dab behind my ears and on my wrists before bed but have also used it on the bottom on my feet to help soothe anxiety or restlessness. Definitely have thoroughly enjoyed this blend of essential oils thus far and will definitely order more doTERRA blends in the future. Super happy with my purchase
