Works for me!
I'm a 53 yr old female and was advised by my ob/gyn to start taking DHEA as part of my hormone therapy to treat the effects of menopause (hot flashes). I started with 10mg per day and didn't notice any benefits except for a small reduction in the number of hot flashes. So after 2 months I increased to 25mg/day and I take it mid-day with lunch. Definitely a difference in work-outs, my sex-drive, and my hot flashes! I love it. My ob/gyn warned me of a possible increase in facial hair, and Hair loss on my head, but I supplement with 10,000mg of Biotin each day and have had no such side effects at all. In fact, my hair dresser recently told me that I have a ton of hair. Here's the important thing: I am healthy and I'm not on any prescriptions for any health issue other than hormone replacement. So check with your doctor before you try it. You don't want any negative drug interactions with any prescriptions you may be on. I also underwent the BRCA gene test prior to hormone therapy to rule out any genetic propensity for breast and cervical cancer. Good luck
