I buy this because it doesn't have soybean oil or other oils like many D3 supplements have. It's allowed me to keep vitamin D serum levels between 50 and 80, which I want to do because I've had cancer before and the vitamin exerts a positive effect on the cellular immune system. great product

Im currently living in Washington State where you cant blink or you might miss the sun. I had run out of my other brand of vitamin D3 and had not had a chance to order more and since I normally suffer from low vitamin D I was starting to feel the symptoms which include low energy, foggy brain and the worst depression and moodiness...pretty ugly. I ordered this brand remembering that a homeopathic doctor had told me that Douglas Labs was a good brand. Within 3 days of taking this brand, I felt more energetic and happier yup my depression and fogginess started going away. Will continue to use from now on

Great quality, good for vegetarians/vegans

I only bought this because my usual brand of D3 (Xymogen) was out of stock, but I'm so glad I found this. I've had several health care providers recommend this brand, but this is better than the other pharmaceutical grade supplements for vegetarians and vegans. I can't determine if this supplement is officially vegan, but there are no dairy products or gelatin in this pill. Yay

Good but didn't know it was uncoated

The only reason why I wouldn't reorder this is because it is not the coated, easy swallow pill. This is not a problem for me because it is still a small pill but my husband has trouble swallowing pills so he cannot take this

Perfect tablets that you can chew up if needed.

These are my new favorite Vitamin D supp., vegan, and I just chew them. Plus my labwork is perfect, one a day, love it. Company is awesome. Lots of great stuff

For me, Oil based Vit. D3 works much better

For me it seems my body responds best to oil based Vitamin D3. I wish I got my blood test results prior to placing a second order -- this one, sadly, lowered my Vitamin D3 levels. Everyone is different and I'm sure this works great for many, but in my case it was disappointing and that's the reason for the 2 star ratin

I was born with Rickets disease. Since childhood, I have had a chronic vitamin D deficiency. My maximum level did not exceed 19, when the norm was from 30 to 100. For 2 years I took medical vitamin D, which my doctor prescribed to me, but it did not help. Then I took all the famous brands on the Iherb website and it did not help me too. Now I am very shocked by this brand, this has never happened in my life. Now my level is 35.1 and I'm just wondering what will happen in another 3 months. I will add my results here later

Great quality Vit D

Great product. I have been taking 10000 units for several years but my level was always in the lower normal range for years. I started taking this product 4 months ago and since then my level has moved up to upper normal range. This is a good quality vitamin D
