Read More...It pays to read supplement labels closely, which I did not do for this supplement. Although the label seems to imply that there is 1000 mg. (1 gram) of a elderberry super concentrated extract in each capsule, there is actually only 15.625 mg. of the extract, equivalent to 1000 mg. of the whole elderberry fruit. This is very small amount of active ingredients per capsule, and almost ineffective at the recommended dosage. The majority of each capsule is rice powder, with only a tiny speck of elderberry extract. The company could have put 30 times as much extract in each capsule, but did not do so to keep their ingredients cost to a minimum. There are much better values available in other supplement brands
Read More...Ok, so I was EXTREMELY skeptical of expecting results from taking this supplement! However, now I'm officially hooked! I suffer from SEVERE sinus infections (that are usually accompanied with ear infections), and stayed sick ALL the time! I'm talking 16 rounds of antibiotics, plus steroids, plus shots in a year! SIXTEEN people in 12 months! I was miserable all the time! I tried allergy testing, and even went as far as having sinus surgery! Read More...I was finishing up my last bottle I received on December 2, 2020. At the bottom of this bottle were 18 white capsules. I DO NOT know if they are they same as the purple ones. But I opened one of them up along with a purple capsule and found white powder inside the white capsule. The purple capsule had purple powder. I am NOT taking these pills because of this. I am sending the pic of the bottle I received on Dec. 2, 2020 with the LOT #84875 Exp. 07-2023. I have since ordered another bottle and have received it with all purple capsules in that bottle, LOT # 84438 Exp. 06-2023. I know your company probably does multiple products, but just wanted to let you know what was in this bottle of Elderberry capsules. Read More...Buyer BEWARE I started to take obviously to boost immune system in May (Pandemic) If I could give 1 star Not sure really about effectiveness for boosting immunity but 5 stars for helping to Pee UPDATE: THE LABEL SHOULD HAVE A WARNING DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN ONE AT A TIME!!!! UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE TO PEE CONSTANTLY EVERY 10 MINUTES FOR A 24 HOUR PERIOD, POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS : Stomache cramping, nausea, kidney stones ( soreness) and the feeling of urgency and having to go continually. I have been having to urinate frequently since I have started taking these and I drink a lot of water usually any way but since taking these I was surprised at the increase in frequency and did not realize that it was from these, until I accidentally took 2 without realizing it..it says 2 to three times daily, NOT 2 at the same time, oops. I took 2 by mistake because I had skipped a day and it was the worst mistake!! 🙀the non stop bathroom every 10 minutes, and stomach cramping pain was excruciating and it was like I was going to have to pass a kidney stone after a few hours, then I started to drink lots of liquids and eat to hopefully flush it, but it is quick release so Good Luck with that. But it would come in waves every few minutes like nausea, and I was lucky to get to the bathroom in time. But not diarrhea thankfully. But the cramping and the kidney pain.....so each buyer BEWARE..and have plenty of tp on handðŸ˜

Read More...My family prefers the gummy's but they only are like 50 mg, when this is 1000 mg… So obviously the pills are far greater value. You need a high dose for it to work well as an immune system booster. I don't want to eat 20 sugar laden dummies a day to get the same dosage as this one pill - plus NO sugar

Read More...I learned years ago about the value of elderberry for chest congestion. My mom had walking pneumonia and the medicine from the doctor wasn't helping. My friend suggested elderberry juice. After one day of three doses a day, my mom's cough became looser and she began to improve quickly. Elderberry juice is something we will not go without. We keep it in our refrigerator year-round.
