Best ever! I seldom write reviews, but this product is amazing! I applied it at the first tingle, along with the oral supplement Herp Rescue, and the cold sore never developed! Hands down, Abreva pales in comparison. It may sting for a few seconds upon application, and care must be taken to avoid healthy tissue, but it creates a protective barrier that can be covered with lip gloss! This is the finest product available, along with Herp Rescue, to stop a blister quickly.

The best cold sore medicine I've tried. Zilactin works far better than any other over-the-counter cold sore medications I’ve used, and I have tried all those that my local pharmacy offers. It is the only one that has been effective at the first sign of a cold sore, preventing it from developing, and aiding in the healing of an open cold sore. The taste is rather unpleasant, but it has worked quickly each time I've used it.

Zilactin is the best for managing my cold sores. When I feel a tingle, I apply it and it acts like a bandage, preventing the tingling sensation from worsening.

Cuts healing time

Works remarkably well! I've used this for years but struggled to find it locally. Thankfully, Amazon had it. It works very effectively if you apply it at the first signs of a cold sore. It can halve the healing process. However, it’s a bit pricey for the quantity you receive.
