Pricey strawberry flavour

Great product, but deplorable Amazon. I was advised about this product by my nutritionist while battling cancer and using a feeding tube. This product is essential due to significant weight loss. I prefer the strawberry flavour, although vanilla is acceptable; chocolate is less appealing. It’s hard to find, giving me limited choices. I've noticed Amazon marking up the strawberry flavour by an additional £18, which is outrageous for those in need. Anyone facing similar health challenges, keep fighting; my thoughts are with you.

Maintained weight during treatment

I discovered this product through my Cancer Centre Dietician when starting chemo and radiation. I was underweight and used a feeding tube as a backup. Thankfully, I didn’t have to rely on it, opting instead for this drink. With the combination of this and Boost, I've managed to maintain my weight during three months of treatments. My doctors are thrilled that I've even gained some weight, making this drink a vital part of my diet.

Helps maintain weight

My grandmother beat stage 4 neck cancer, but post-treatment, she struggled with eating due to tightness in her throat. She fluctuates between 98 to 100 pounds, down from 120. Her doctor recommended Ensure between meals to assist with her nutritional needs. She enjoys the taste, although opening the bottles can be challenging for her. It would be nice if a mixed pack with all flavours were available for her convenience.

Easy to swallow shake

My husband consumed these during and after his treatment for throat cancer. I blend them with whole milk and ice cream to create a tasty shake that's easy for him to swallow and packed with calories and nutrients. While it's not particularly delicious on its own, it blends well with other ingredients like fruit and protein powder for added flavour.

Effective meal replacement

My husband, currently undergoing cancer treatment, has lost significant weight and was advised by his dietitian to try this product. He enjoys the vanilla flavour and drinks 2-3 a day. However, it’s unfortunate that it isn’t covered by insurance and is somewhat pricey.
