Seems to help with regulating the digestive system
I started using the flaxseed oil because I want to reduce inflammation. I take one capsule twice a day. I have many food and environmental allergies, which of course means that I have lots of inflammation. My functional medicine doctor recommended that I begin to take fish oil as part of my gut healing regiment to reduce inflammation. I initially started using doTERRA's EO Megas, and while they were good, it left me burping essential oils all day. I switched to Sports Research flaxseed because I am attempting to transition to more of a plant-based diet and felt that my supplements should also be plant-based. About two weeks after starting Sports Research flaxseed oil, I noticed that my skin seems to be clearing up and my digestive system seems to be regulating. I will note that my diet had changed somewhat, but even when I went back to eating junk (I had a rough couple of weeks), my digestive system still seems to be much better than it was before. There has also been a significant decrease in my abdominal pain. I also have to note that even though the flaxseed oil does make me burp, there is no aftertaste at all. I have been taking the flaxseed oil for a little over a month today, but I plan to continue taking it and I am looking forward to the long-term benefits that it offers
