I had used this product years ago to quell the itching of mosquito bites in Alaska (where there were hordes of monster mosquitoes), and on sunburn, and was happy to try it again for a bad case of eczema. It brings relief, and is a true gel. not as runny as some products. It is similar to the gel I get from my own aloe plants, but more convenient. I bought the travel size first, just to check for effectiveness or any allergies, then bought this double pack. (I don't think it is very common for people to be allergic to aloe vera, but I have read that some people are, so it is always wise to test.) I also like that, unlike cortisone creams, I can use it as often as I need to, to calm the itching and help moisturize my skin. I'm also sensitive to a lot of the ingredients in many other types of moisturizers, so it is wonderful that this doesn't have that stuff in it. Love it
