Allergic Reaction!!!
I really like the brand as it has organic, natural ingredients. I used to buy the prenatal that you have to take 3x a day and was very excited when I found this. Take it once a day and be done. I started taking it every day in the morning. I didn't have any issues with the size of the pill or its taste. All I care about is the quality of the ingredients, and it deserves 5 stars for quality. So, why the 1 star rating? Well, one morning, minutes after I had taken it, my face turned lobster red and it felt warm to the touch. Next thing you know, the redness spread to my elbows and arms, knee caps, chest, even the tops of my feet. A full-on rash! What the heck?? It scared the living days out of me. It was clear I was experiencing an allergic reaction,something new to me ( I must note that I do not have any food Allergies). The reaction lasted about 20 minutes. But, I didn't think the reaction was caused by the vitamin. I blamed it on the my body wash, thinking I had developed a sensitivity to the harsh chemicals, so I changed soaps. One week later it happened again. This time I thought it was the DHA supplement, so I stopped taking that for a little while. Another week went by...it happened again, and this time the reaction was so much worse. The rash was literally all over my body. Scary stuff! That's when I connected the dots. It had to be the vitamin. So, I stopped taking it. It's been about 2 weeks now ,and I haven't had any issues. It's too bad I can't take it anymore because I really think it's a quality vitamin
