Discontinuing iron improves pregnancy nausea
We explored whether stopping iron-containing prenatal multivitamins could alleviate nausea and vomiting in pregnant women. In a study involving 97 women seeking help for severe nausea, we discovered that two-thirds reported an improvement after switching to alternatives like folic acid or children's vitamins.

This significant finding, backed by both qualitative and quantitative measures, shows that avoiding iron supplements in early pregnancy may be beneficial for many women struggling with nausea.

Prenatal vitamins and nausea outcomes
We aimed to understand how prenatal multivitamins, particularly those containing low doses of iron, affect women with existing gastrointestinal (GI) issues during pregnancy. By comparing women with and without GI conditions, we found that those with GI issues did not have more side effects or lower adherence to taking multivitamins.

In fact, they may have experienced less severe nausea and vomiting compared to women without GI conditions. This suggests that small, low-dose iron prenatal vitamins should still be considered a viable option for pregnant women with such pre-existing conditions.

Prenatal vitamins and nausea insights
We examined how two different prenatal multivitamins impacted nausea in pregnant women. Our study involved 135 participants who tried both PregVit, which contains less iron, and Materna, with a higher iron level.

We found that PregVit led to lower rates of constipation, making it more tolerable for users. Interestingly, with Materna, higher nausea and vomiting were linked to lower compliance. In contrast, these issues didn’t affect how well women tolerated PregVit.

High quality multivitamin complex! I bought these during my pregnancy at a trial price and was not disappointed. They did not cause nausea, unlike other vitamins. All my tests were normal, and my hemoglobin was 116 before delivery. I experienced only slight discomfort in my calves, which was resolved with magnesium. Overall, I felt excellent, with good health, vibrant energy, and healthy hair and nails. The vitamin composition suits me well, and I take one tablet daily.

Reduced nausea significantly

The best! I feel compelled to write a review about these vitamins now that my daughter is 9 months old. These raw, non-synthetic vitamins did not cause nausea and contain probiotics. I used about five cans throughout my pregnancy and felt much better. Despite my age at childbirth being over 30, my pregnancy was better than my previous one. I had minimal issues, and my child developed well without major illnesses. I did take a higher dosage, but it gave me confidence.

I didn’t regret purchasing these vitamins, recommended by a friend. After realising that synthetic vitamins didn't help, I chose these. They clearly reduced nausea during my first trimester and caused no digestive issues. My skin condition improved, and I experienced no adverse effects while taking them, with my tests showing normal results. Overall, my pregnancy went smoothly, and I highly recommend them.

I read reviews, bought them, and regretted it. I took one tablet daily for a week, feeling nausea and abdominal cramps. I attributed it to normal toxicosis but eventually could not continue. Many negative reviews mention digestive issues, which resonate with my experience. Very disappointed.
