This is the perfect aloe. My naturopath recommended it several years ago to calm my Barrett's Esophagus, and I had never been a fan of aloe for two specific reasons--the taste and the side effects. But George's is very different. If you refrigerate it, you're treated to an ice cold beverage that looks and tastes like the best distilled water. It also has zero side effects, so no worries about aftertaste or diarrhea. There is absolutely no taste, and George's goes through a process that removes the laxative property. This allows me to focus on the healing properties of the aloe, and I never dread drinking it It's clear, clean, and delicious (if you like water). It is also the ideal liquid aloe to add to smoothies. I'm thrilled to report that drinking two ounces twice a day and when in distress, along with some necessary dietary restrictions, has cleared up the esophageal bleeds. I recommend George's to friends and colleagues at every opportunity. I was thrilled to find it here. Ordering was easy, and a dash button makes reorders a breeze. The large bottle may be tall for your fridge, but I keep mine on the bottom shelf. You could also transfer it to a pitcher. l'm so grateful for this incredibly great natural product

I made the mistake of purchasing this product solely based on the reviews without doing my usual due diligence and clearly ended up wasting my money. I was shocked to find that this liquid has virtually no taste, just like distilled water. I tested with my TDS meter and this water has less TDS at 20 than the Smartwater (vapor distilled with minerals added for taste) that tests at 23. I thought perhaps it would at least be alkaline, but NOPE the PH test shows it is on the acidic side at 5.75! Seriously, the water has less healing property than a single shake of unrefined sea salt! This is distilled water with virtually no minerals and you're undoubtedly paying for clever marketing and shipping cost. Plain old inexpensive distilled water just might help some people with GERD or Acid Reflux symptoms and some medical professionals prescribe distilled water to their patients. Also google "fractionally distilled Aloe placebo" - "What is fractionally distilled Aloe Vera Juice? Some Aloe Vera companies fractionally distill their Aloe Vera Juice removing the biologically active solids leaving pure water. It has been PROVEN that all of the beneficial components of Aloe Vera Juice are in the biologically active solids. Any benefits derived from this product are placebo.

Please read my review, as I hope it helps others dealing with severe skin conditions. I hope Warren Laboratories stays in business for a very, very, very long time. My son has a severe peanut allergy, and apparently with allergies comes eczema (skin condition that causes open sores). We've used steroids with limited results, and we don't like using it very much nor does my son as it's a pretty strong medicine. For some reason, my memory was triggered and I remembered my Japanese mother growing aloe plants and using them on us when we had an injury or received a burn (happens when you grow up on a farm). I wasn't thinking of prevention, but healing his open sores that were getting pretty bad--on his arms, behind his legs, on his feet, and on his inner thighs. (He is entering his teenage years, and is obviously very sensitive about his skin. The kids at school always ask why he wears long pants, and not shorts like they do in school and after school). Long story short, I came across "George's Aloe" and thought what the heck, can't hurt. It's a natural product and worth a try. I also read that Aloe is a natural antihistimine. We've been using it for a week on our son, and the results are very positive. It hasn't prevented the outbreaks, but it has diminished them noticeably. I would say upwards of 80% improvement. The spring is the worst time for my son, and it's been very manageable. My wife and I have noticed a significant improvement in his condition and he drinks a small glass of George's Aloe every morning. I tried it, and it indeed does take like water. Read the directions, though, as you don't need much. I've since supplemented the 'internal' treatment with an external treatment of the actual aloe plant rubbed on the outside of his body (arms, legs, feet, etc.). You basically just cut off a very small part of the leaf, and it's a gel inside. I rub that on his sores, pimples, and hives and paired with the Aloe juice, has had a dramatic effect, a definite improvement for the better. My son is much more relaxed of late, and very happy with the results. It's not perfect by any means, but he itches a LOT less and he doesn't have the open weeping sores that he had before. Again, it's not perfect, but a huge improvement. I think for others in the same situation, it's worth a try. I would just make sure there isn't some sort of allergy to it--but I've never heard of an allergic reaction to Aloe. Finally, my wife has tried a lot of remedies on my son: lotions, aforementioned steroids, hot showers followed by vaseline to keep the moisture in, etc., and none of them has had the same noticeable positive effect as Warren Laboratories "George's Aloe". A very enthusiastic and strong 5 Stars for this product. I hope you find a use for it, too

-I had acid reflux which had been seriously aggravated when I fell and struck my upper abdomen on a hard object causing a hiatal hernia. -I have Celiac disease which is a malfunction of the small intestines and causes a lot of undigested food to pass into the large intestines where it putrefies and causes all sorts of problems including bowel irregularity. -I had inflammation in my muscles and joints. -All of these things combined caused me to be miserable and tired much of the time and seriously impacted my ability to eat many things and just get things done. I tried the "other" so called fantastic brands that taste very sour. They aggravated all my symptoms and made them worse. I was in a supplement store and the clerk recommended aloe vera to which I said "No way, I tried it already". He said "Oh, you tried the other stuff. Let me introduce you to George's". My life improved dramatically almost immediately. All the symptoms disappeared or diminished. I even tried going off the stuff after a week and the symptoms returned. Since then I keep a couple of gallons around all the time. If I forget to use it my body lets me know in 3 or 4 days and I go back on it. I only have to drink 1 or 2 ounces a day. These people who are saying this is water or that it doesn't work are suspect as far as I am concerned. Do they work for the competition? Do they have a beef with George's? Did they take it correctly? What else are they taking or eating and drinking? Do they think the FDA would let George's get away with selling water? You know how much the FDA would love to put the supplement business out of business! They have tried hard enough. I know it works and I have recommended it to many others who are happy drinkers of George's Aloe Vera juice now. Too bad I can't give it 6 stars. This is a small price to pay for so many benefits

I bought this for a friend who had an ulcer to help heal it because my Mother gave me this to heal mine. Totally healed it! Fortunately, I had it in my fridge still when my one year old granddaughter decided to grab a halogen bulb that had been on for 3 hours. I immediately filled a bowl with this and she voluntarily immersed her hand in it. This resulted in 2nd degree burns which blistered all over her little palm and fingers. three doctors and 6 days later, took her to a plastic surgeon fearing the worst and he was amazed at how it had healed in such little time. I applied it on a bandage at night and wrapped it for a couple more nights, and I believe this is what healed her burns so quickly. I also used aloe plant, and apple cider vinegar as well

I have tried many, many products aimed at helping with digestive upset for my cat. Her pain and suffering was so great that I thought I was going to have to put her to sleep. I went to multiple vets and had thousands of dollars worth of diagnostics done to try and find out why she was having acid reflux, crying and subsequently vomitting (endoscopy, xray, ultrasound, bloodwork, etc). One vet told me to just give her pepcid. This worked for a while, but then became completely ineffective after a while. The same vet then told me that she probably just has food allergies and would have to be on steroids for the rest of her life, and thats all that could be done, and prescribed different kinds of Science Diet (which we all know is actually a terrible food for cats with digestive problems). Well, what do you know, the steroids didn't help AT ALL. I tried probiotics of various brands for pets, I tried digestive enzymes, I tried many different natural products designed to help ease digestive / intestinal inflammation.... I tried a homiopathic vet (the only one in my area) and spent a few thousand more dollars rerunning tests and running other tests for pancreatitis, etc. I tried MAKING her food from raw meat to try and eliminate food allergies to commericial foods as a potential problem, etc. I TRIED EVERYTHING, but still my cat was constantly licking her lips, then crying in terrible pain and vomitting very consistently, and now was losing interest in her food and was losing weight and starting to look boney. I was determined to not give up on her though. I had just lost my wife to infection during a failed bone marrow transplant / cancer during all this, and was not about to give up on my girl. I stopped making her food and started getting her Natures Variety canned Rabbit formula. She loved the food but it did not seem to be helping her feel better, even though a lot of other people were having great success. I then found a site called wellvet dot com that said that Ulcinex (link at the bottom of this review) was very effective at repairing ulcers and the stomach lining in pets. It also said that it was very effective at controlling vomitting that occurs a few hours after eating, which is EXACTLY what was consistently happening, and no other product that I had found so far claimed to do same thing. I was skeptical as soon as it started talking about chinese herbs and such, but I figured it was worth a shot. I started giving this as prescribed from wellvet ALONG WITH Georges Aloe Vera juice, which is said to help a lot for acid reflux sufferers (I found a few people that said it worked great for their cats). All the while praying, within a few days I started noticing a drastic improvement. She was licking her lips less, and was able to relax for longer periods of time without jumping up in pain and crying. She vommitted once within a several day period. Several days later, NO MORE CRYING, and instead of hiding behind the bedroom door licking her lips the whole night, she started sleeping with me at night like she used to. Now, several weeks later, she is literally 90% better. NO MORE VOMITTING AT ALL, is in very little pain, VERY little lip licking and only very occasionally at that. She also gets much more rest, and has put on several pounds and is back above her normal weight and has a nice chubby belly. My cat suffered daily for 2 long years during this whole process before I found this product along with the Ulcinex. The aloe vera juice on its own didn't seem to completely do the trick, so I think its the combination of the two that is really effective. I only hope that no permanent damage has already been done, but now I have my cat back and don't have to suffer through losing a great wife and a great cat. If you have a cat with severe stomach issues, you owe it to yourself and your cat to try this along with the Ulcinex. It wouldn't hurt to get a great quality canned food like Natures variety either. First off, this stuff looks and tastes like water. Why? Because Aloe Vera is 99% water to begin with. The fractionated distillation process removes some of the not-wanted ingredients, leaving the water that was already there along with the 1% of other ingredients one gets from aloe gel, not the whole plant, the gel itself. The process of fractionated distillation involves heating the liquid to a temperature where the moisture turns to steam, then that is released into one of the containers. Change the temperature, get other ingredients out, the end result if done right is perfect extraction of the essential part of the gel and removes the stuff that is not wanted such as the bitter taste etc. Ever tried distilled jalapeños? It tastes like water with a slight hint of green pepper, no heat. This is why this product tastes and looks like water. Not because they are ripping you off. Aloe Vera is 99% water. There are 3 parts to the Aloe Vera plant, the outer skin, the gel inside, and the middle layer. You don't want the outer layer in your consumed Aloe, so they remove that and fractionally distill the inner 2 layers. The first being the primary gel layer is where the 99% water is along with a slew of ingredients including vitamins, enzymes and more. The bitter layer contains the biiterness and anthraquinone, which is a laxative. They use the FD process to remove the bitterness and the anthraquinone, which is why it doesnt have quite the same "in and out" effect that most aloe consumables do, and why it has no taste, because they removed the bitter part during this FD process. This product is water, yes, but it's also all the other good stuff in the aloe plant including its anti-bacterial properties, anti-inflamatory properties, has a positive effect on our immune system, has anti-septic properties and more. As far as those who've tested it for pH and found it to be water, again, it is 99% water, just like the plant literally right off the growing plant. However, the FD process changes the pH as well as removing the above mentioned bitter and laxative properties. So it's going to test like water using a simple test kit. However if you have it lab analyzed, you'll find it is truly aloe water, with the bad stuff removed. Because of the FD process, this product is super easy to drink, doesnt give you the "in and outs" nearly as bad, isn't bitter, but still contains the good stuff. Don't listen to the "its just water" people, do your own research on what Fractional Distillation is and what the true ingredients of Aloe Vera gel are and how the two interact and make your own decision. If you want to believe its just water, go for it, its your dime. But before crying wolf, do some research. There are these great search engines on the internet that will teach you lots of things. It works, its tasteless, and it is Aloe Vera gel fractionally distilled into the product we get when we purchase it

I absolutely LOVE this stuff. Was in ER with Diverticulitis - and after I came home a friend told me to get some Aloe to drink. Got this and did it 3 times per day (2 oz.) - the directions say twice a day, but because I needed healing and not just maintenance, I did an extra dose in the middle of the day. Usually, natural remedies don't do it for me, or not all the way - but this truly did. Very pleased. I went to a health food store to get a single dose to hold me over while I was out for the day (couldn't get home to take this stuff) and it was absolutely AWFUL - chunky, because they put a thickener in it. Why, I have NO idea. GAG! This stuff, George's, is JUST LIKE WATER. If it didn't work, I'd swear it was a hoax and was water - but it did and does work. LOVE it. Will keep it and use for maintenance now... HIGHLY recommend

This is a product it would do everyone well to have as a staple in their homes. It offers instant relief from stomach discomfort yet tastes like good spring water. I prefer it chilled and keep some always ready in my fridge. It also works as a topical for cuts or irritations. Our first experience with the product was after radiation burns when my husband was in treatment. As the saliva glands had been destroyed and he needed to cary a water bottle all the time, we were told about George's Aloe Vera (none other will work as well). This became his saving grace. There are many many uses, it's pure and has taken awards for its excellence. I try not to be without it and have ordered it for friends and family, especially those who have been ill. Ordering via Amazon.com has always been the best way to get the product as it is not available locally. Every vendor has been exceptional in getting it to me

This stuff is the most incredible acid reflux, cramping and diarrhea relief ever! I was really sick for weeks. I took every over the counter (and a couple prescriptions) I could get my hands on. My lower abdomen would gurgle the moment I woke up in the morning and I would then have to run to the bathroom as soon as I awoke. On top of that, the acid reflux was so bad I actually went to the ER thinking I was having a heart attack. I took my first dose in the evening and woke up with no gurgling belly and no heartburn. Like that, I was better. Simply amazing!!! As a precautionary measure I take a little every morning and evening and I am still going strong with the results. :) I could not be happier with it
