I started taking this aloe because I have EDS, POTS, Chiari, and IBS-constipation per what the Cusauk protocol recommends. I started at 1oz and worked my way up to 2oz within a week or so.. I was worried to start taking it at first because I'm pregnant and I've read different things about aloe being safe or not during pregnancy but after my own research and again following that intuition I felt perfectly safe taking aloe that is pure and doesn't have added stuff in it. It hasn't helped my joint pain but I do think it's helping me sublex more for sure! My joints get super lose during pregnancy and I haven't had it as bad this time so I'll take that! It has helped my constipation a little as in I'm going at least once a day (I would go DAYS without going my last pregnancy 🥴) BUT it is still not the easiest to poop so it's not like working real miracles when it comes to my constipation lol. Now one pleasant surprise I've had is it helping with my heartburn/acid reflux!! I didn't know it was supposed to help with that too until I came back to the reviews here to see if it had helped others with that and sure enough others had reported the same thing. My heartburn/acid reflux had started earlier this pregnancy and I realized it was only happening on the days I forgot to take my aloe ðŸ˜... I don't forget it anymore that's for sure lol. If I do forget to take it earlier in the day then by night time the heartburn does start to kick in but I'm usually able to stop it if I'm home and can take my aloe. I love this stuff just for that reason alone but it does help a little in other areas. I know my gut health is wrecked so I can't expect it to work miracles over night. If you're pregnant definitely do your research before taking it and don't just take my word for it but if you do take it I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me
