Cold Brew 70mg Caffeine is the Best.

Been using GU for a few years now, I like the roctane and my favorite flavor was Sea Salt Chocolate untill I tried the Cold Brew x2 Caffeine, not as thik as the Sea Salt Chocolate, tried the Sea Salt Chocolate after this one, felt like I wasted money buying a box of each, Cold Brew is the new favorite indeed

Go to running fuel

I buy these big ones to either carry with me on an unsupported ultra run, usually 50 miles in the mountains. On training days, I normally chug it right before a run and helps keep me energized after work. I buy the small packs if I'm adventure running, exploring, or doing around 13-20 miles fun runs

BBQ sauce…..

So right out the gate this stuff tastes pretty good and I am a frequent gu costumer so I know the stuff works. One problem is as this flavor gets warmer.... the closer it gets to tasting like BBQ sauce. I'm not kidding. So in the hot Phoenix summer I wouldn't recommend i

Great source of energy for long-distance exercise

I generally use this as the opening fuel for going long, all-day distances, to act as a starter of sorts while supplementing them with more mundane energy sources (such as the standard GU energy gels or chews) as the day progresses. The orange-vanilla flavor doesn't taste very good; the chocolate-coconut flavor, on the other hand, tastes great. I would suggest getting a variety box at first if you aren't familiar with these, to try out multiple flavors before settling on one you like

Rocketfuel your runs

These work. Save them for when you need them in a long run and boom you will get a pick me up and boost. Needs to be part of an eating plan on ultras otherwise you risk a gut Bomb

You can tell the difference from this and the original formula

I only use this on long runs 10 miles, and I can definitely feel the boost. Roctane formula really does feel different from the original. It's advertised as helping athletes continue endurance events and I agree with that whole heartedly. This flavor is okay not great, if you've had chocolate gu before it's about the same. What flavor do that make that isn't a little weird? It's a supplement and tastes/ acts like one

Long Haul GU

Helped me get through the 206 miles of the Dirty Kanza. Good product. Get the little flask to hold multiple servings. Much more convenient and less messy than individual packets

My ONLY choice.

I am a high salt sweater and this product contains 180mg of sodium. I also believe amino acids and caffeine is helpful, and this is the ONLY product that has everything I need no matter what it taste like. Salt has always gone well with chocolate, so they were smart in picking a flavor. The chocolate flavor is a little like a Wendys Frosty. It is super think which is my main complaint with all the G gel products, but this is the only product I think a big salt sweater should be using
