I purchased the Chocolate Outrage flavor. It's not the world's most delicious food-product, but overall it's not bad at all (think chocolate frosting). I definitely notice a difference in my energy levels after the 30 minute mark. Diabetes content ahead: As a diabetic I need a mix of fast and longer acting carbs for when I exercise (running or biking usually). Consuming a Gu about 5-10 minutes before beginning my activity helps me keep my sugars in check for 30-40 minutes of medium/intense activity. What I like is they're very quickly consumable, and contain a consistent amount of carbs. No needing to hunt around the pantry to try and find something that works before a workout anymore
