I was taking 5000 IU daily, then decided to just take 7 of the little pills once a week. Found this D3 10,000 IU, and now I take 4 one day a week. If I'm exposed to someone who is obviously sick with a cold or flu, I'll take 50,000 IU as soon as I get home, then again at bedtime, then again in the morning. I've been doing this since 2009 and I've not been sick. Same with my hubby, and he used to get sick 3-4 times a year since childhood. We also take K2 since I understand it is important to take with the D3

Finally made a difference in my Vitamin D levels

I've been running up against really low Vitamin D levels in the winter for the last few years. So much so, that I was actually deficient last winter. I've tried several brands of Vitamin D supplements but this has been the only one that actually raised my vitamin D levels. So much so, I now only have to take it every other day becuase my levels are getting too high

Very bad quality

It was my second purchase of this product. I received, sealed, a container of capsules. The seal on the lid looked good. But inside, the pills were a single mass, inseparable and useless. How do you expect a human being to swallow these types of capsules? What happened to the quality of this product? The package shows that the control code is 1171 8111. The expiration date is 01/31/2022. Completely disappointed. I hope return the money and shipping

Only Vitamin D3 I buy

This is the only Vitamin D3 I buy. Easy to swallow. 360 softgels last a long time. I take 2 a day

After one year my vit D levels dropped

So I have been taking this vit D since March 2019 and did a vitamin-D 25-OH test. I took it every day. Took another vitamin-D 25-OH test in April 2020 and my level dropped by 2. So there is that. My level has dropped!!! What is in these? Just Olive oil

Didn't seem to be as potent as those from vitamin shoppe. So we take more per dose. It seems to be working OK

Vitamin D Solution

Vitamin D is so important for just about every system of the body. Almost every cell if not every cell has a receptor site for Vitamin D. It's actually a hormone and not a vitamin (was discovered much later after it was named a vitamin). A really good book I read about D is Dr. Michael Hollis book "The Vitamin D Solution". Helps w diabetes and cancer
