Thank you Healthy Origins for continuing to produce your 500 mg EpiCor - additive-free! EPICOR IS AMAZING! EpiCor balances, rather than boosts the immune system. Have seen it do wonders in many areas - the kind of side effect we can all use - where the body improves in other ways than expected. At the time of this posting, have not had a cold or flu since I happened upon a product containing EpiCor 3 years ago, and other issues seem to be improving, as well. I am thankful the competitive market has brought it into the realm of affordability for the majority. One site advertises "EpiCor acts like a multiple vitamin for your immune system". With consistent, continuous EpiCor supplementation - if one contracts anything - it is more of a whimper, instead of a debilitative bang. My first time taking an EpiCor product, I was experiencing flu-like symptoms and then suddenly swollen and suffering with an infected tooth. I had the product with EpiCor, and not feeling well enough to venture out - I decided to see if the supplement on hand I took some, went to sleep - upon wakening I could feel a difference. I took EpiCor 3x day, and after about 72 hours, all signs of the flu and tooth infection were gone - WITHOUT any medications or dental treatment. Everyone's body is different, but this was my experience. It was so remarkable - I called the company which produced the product to learn more. EpiCor improves us in areas we do not expect and the benefits are innumerable - there are no known side effects, it does not interfere with over-the-counter medications or any of the tested prescriptive medications. It has been shown to aid digestion (even IBS disappears), strengthen the skin and mucous membranes (the body's first lines of defense), lessen tissue damage and inflammation. If one has ANY type of ailment, especially those associated with the immune system - EpiCor may help. Do not expect overnight results with a long term illness, as it gradually builds within the system. Since EpiCor activates the NK cells, it seems reasonable it may help fight cancer. I know of one who used it with Chemotherapy for liver cancer - with EpiCor they were able to continue working during treatment - and the results were positive. Perhaps the EpiCor protects the healthy cells, while the chemo sets about destroying the cancer cells. Everyone I know who has taken EpiCor - for various health issues - claim benefit in either avoiding illness, or, eventually conquering it. It is remarkable because one capsule daily balances, rather than boosts, one's immune system. Our routine is to use EpiCor with a Vitamin C/Bioflavonoids 500mg supplement (as everyone needs C, and Bioflavonoids are necessary for C assimilation), plus 15mg Zinc - supportive nutrients, since our combination product is no longer available. Not saying this is necessary, but it is what we do in this household - extended family members use EpiCor without the extra supplemental support. XPC, the farm animal supplement which preceded EpiCor, is known to increase animal survivability. Many know the story of the XPC supplement dust, which kept the plant manufacturing workers so healthy the insurance provider began making inquiries as to "why"? Glad they asked - as we now have EpiCor. The longer one takes EpiCor their health continually improves, likely in ways we do not even realize. I am impressed with the story about a man who worked in the XPC manufacturing facility for 30 years. He was born with RP (retinitis pigmentosa), but after going to work in the plant - his eye disease never progressed. Unfortunately, during this same time span, his twin sister, born with the same RP, gradually lost her sight. THIS SUPPLEMENT IS WORTH TRYING !
