Been taking this and D3 for three months and the mild plaque in my carotid arteries are now ZERO. My Lifeline Screening results showed this status since 2013 every year. The March 27 results showed NONE. I'd say can't be a fluke. Also, I had severe stenosis in an artery going into my right calf causing burning in it when I walked a few blocks. After about 3 months of this K2 and D3 and a couple weeks walking on a treadmill, I'm completely pain free indicating to me that the calcium blockage is gone. I was also diagnosed with sever stenosis of one of my coronary arteries and I'm very optimistic that the calcium will be removed too. This supplement is AMAZING!

This is my story. Where do I start. I'm not diabetic but I was having some really bad nerve pain a year ago so I started taking a magnesium supplement a few months later which was a great discovery for me because it actually helped my pain. I was also having really bad arthritis pain and bone pain so I started taking this vitamin K2 supplement and it sent me in to 98% pain free heaven. I had had a mri, and X-Ray earlier this year that showed really bad arthritis. My bone density test four years ago showed severe loss of bone mass. I was at that time taking a calcium supplement that contained vitamin c, vitamin d3, vitamin K2 MK7, and boron, but for some reason it made my pain worse so I stopped taking it. I would start back taking it and the pain would wreaked so much havoc on my body that I could barely walk. I was spending so much time in bed because of the pain that it became debilitating. Continuous use of NSAIDs were not an option and suicide became a thought. So I started researching vitamin K2 and what was the best form of vitamin K2 after reading what vitamin K2 was good for. It stated that natto was the best. I was already eating so much sauerkraut that I felt like it was coming through the pores in my skin. So I did more research until I saw this supplement that it contained natto. I decided to give it a try and boy am I glad I did. I also want to mention that I take warfarin and it has not interfered with or affected my INR results at all. In fact my results seem to be better. The NP in my doctor's office was skeptical about me taking it but I explained to her that it's the vitamin K1 that deals with clotting which happens in the liver. Vitamin K2 deals with dispersing calcium where it should go which is in the bones and not the blood vessels which can cause atherosclerosis. She acted like she was actually surprised to hear that. I had a bone density study done three months ago and the results had greatly improved which to me proves that this supplement really works. I love that these softgels are small and easy to swallow. They don't seem to have a taste to them but has the feel that they will melt if kept in a very warm environment. I thought the cost was a bit much since I'd never tried them before to see if they were any good. But I am happy that I did try them and feel that for how they have helped me the cost is worth it and I will definitely be buying them again. I started taking one a day but changed to taking 2 a day which seems to work better. And since vitamin K is a fat soluble vitamin I do take these with a meal. I don't know if the natto makes it any less fat soluble but I feel these should still be taken with a meal that contains some fat. There's a lot more to my journey and how it led me to seek my own safe way to pain relief. I hope this review will help others to find a safe, non prescription, and inexpensive way to help them in their pain relief journey. Prayer and this vitamin K2 supplement was definitely a godsend for me

it is this form of K2 that sends calcium to the bones and takes it out of arteries

since it is calcium build up in the arteries that causes blockage, I searched for an antidote, and found well-researched evidence that this K2MK7 is the one thing that actually does that and it is not expensive.to prevent or treat osteoporosis the dose is 45mcgs daily. when I phoned the healthy origins company about the sourcing of the K2MK7, I was able to get the tech guy pretty quickly, who explained that their source is an Italian doctor who has been growing natto in Italy and extracting the K2MK7 from it for forty years. it really is natural. and NOT made in china. there are several other reasons for taking the MK7, maladies characterized by low platelet count and slow prothrombin time, generally liver diseases, are helped by the MK7. it does seem to lessen plaque buildup on teet

Not good test results for me

69 yr old athlete. Monitor micronutrients closely with SpectraCell Laboratories and Cleveland HeartLab. Prefer Jarrow Formulas or Pure Encapsulations brands, but Jarrow K-2 was expensive so switched to Healthy Origins to save money. Went from historically having K2 tests in the 60's (parts per whatever) with 90 mcg Jarrow to a deficient 35 with Healthy Origins 100 mcg. Switched back and tests last week were back up. Clinically not doing it for me - maybe ok for you if you're not taking calcium for bone support

Contains Carrageenan

This product contains Carrageenan, a known carcinogen. Why would they use organic oil and then use carrageenan in the product. That just doesn't make sense. I know this was Consumer Labs top choice but all that says is that the product has in it what it says it has. Consumer Labs does not rate its efficacy. I will not buy until the Carrageenan is replaced. I emailed the company and was going to paste their response but they restricted their communication from being copied. Interesting. Basically it argued the point about Carrageenan being a carcinogen and that it is needed in order to provide a vegetarian capsule. It said that as of now no other options are available

Started taking this and Krill oil after reading that it was helpful if you are on statins, which I was. Can't take statins, but am still taking this product with no issues or side effects

This product has the dosage and price point that makes it a very good value for the money. It is one of several things in my dosing regimen used to control cholesterol. Unless you want the actual natto goo in a capsule or as a food item, this is the one for serious results. I don't take statins because they trigger other problems. My cardiologist has urged me to reconsider but since my recent lipid profile is well within limits in all categories, he doesn't have much to say. No more atorvastatin, no more metoporol, Tip for those with periodic blood draws for lipid profile numbers. About ten days before the blood draw double up my regular dose on the proven non-prescription anti-cholesterol and cardio health supplements. That list included k2, garlic, niacin, fish oil, cucurmin, COQ10, red yeast rice. Unless you are on a terrible diet, don't exercise or sleep well, your lipid profile numbers will be low enough that there won't be any reason for taking statins, even if your genetic makeup is predisposed to dangerous cholesterol blockages and a family history of atherosclerosis. My understanding of K2 comse from Dr Perlmutter. He points to abundant research on natto efficacy

My doctor says K2 Is the next D3! She says everyone should be on it- even children! Research supports that this form of K2 helps keep the arteries and veins clear of deposits. This is the same brand my doctor has available in her office, but at a better price. Our whole family is now on K2. Hope this works
