Promising results for fish oil
We investigated the impact of dietary fish oil, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, on hydroa vacciniforme, a challenging photosensitivity disorder. Three boys with the condition took five capsules of MaxEPA daily for three months. During follow-up tests, we observed that all boys had lower sensitivity to UVA light, indicating a positive response to the treatment.

While one child demonstrated a significant improvement, another showed mild progress, and the third did not improve but later responded well to another medication. Overall, fish oil may reduce UV sensitivity and improve rash outcomes for some patients.

Fish oil emulsion improves rash
We explored how a parenteral fish oil emulsion can help treat essential fatty acid deficiency (EFAD) in a soy-allergic teen who had gastrointestinal issues after a bone marrow transplant. Initially, he showed a rash and an unbalanced plasma ratio indicating EFAD due to fat-free nutrition.

After starting the fish oil treatment, his rash disappeared within 10 days, and his plasma levels improved significantly. This result highlights that fish oil can be a safe fat source for patients who can't use traditional lipid emulsions, effectively treating the rash linked to EFAD.

We investigated whether maternal supplementation with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) can impact infant health outcomes. Through a rigorous double-blind study in Mexico, pregnant women took 400 mg of DHA or a placebo.

We found that while DHA helped reduce the duration of illnesses like cough and fever in infants, it did lead to a 22% longer duration of rash at one month old. While DHA showed benefits in other areas, its impact on rash was notably negative.

Worthy rival of famous brands. My son, who has autism, has taken it multiple times. We require these essential acids consistently, ideally in a 2:1 ratio. Although the recommendation is to take one capsule, my son often requests two a day, which isn't an issue. Upon opening the capsule, a strawberry scent is noticeable. I'm unsure of the scientific background, but compared to expensive chemist brands that caused allergic reactions, this has worked wonderfully; there’s no more belching or rash on his cheeks. The composition offers excellent value for money! Highly recommend!

These are superb Omega-3 capsules of excellent quality, containing both EPA and DHA, essential for cell membranes and potent anti-inflammatories. After taking 1-2 capsules daily for three months, I've noticed less hair loss, and its shine and elasticity have improved. Furthermore, the skin rashes decreased significantly. My mental state feels more stable; perhaps it’s auto-suggestion, but I’m definitely less stressed. I strongly recommend these capsules for their outstanding price-to-quality ratio and noticeable effects.

During my pregnancy, I take these capsules to enrich my body with fats and alleviate kidney inflammation. As a bonus, my face has become much clearer and more moisturised, probably due to this supplement. Although the capsules are rather large, I manage to swallow two at once effortlessly. I intend to continue taking them.

This omega isn’t bad. I didn’t notice much effect aside from the significant reduction in facial rashes and clearer skin, which became quite apparent.

Skin improvement
This omega is excellent value for money, boasting a high content of EPA and DHA, which was crucial for my choice. After six months of consistent use, I've noticed a definite improvement; the periodic rashes on my face have decreased, and my hair looks much healthier, with less splitting and increased shine. This product stands out compared to the pricier options I used to buy, and I will certainly order more.

Atopy recovery

I purchased this with the expectation of receiving omega-3 fatty acids, contained in EPA and DHA, to help calm inflammation. For effectiveness, it’s advisable to combine it with flaxseed oil and phytoceramides, and take it with Enzymedica's Lypogold, which has digestive enzymes. This method has helped me recover from the red rash associated with atopy.
