Like many reviewers, I had bouts of severe abdominal pain. So I went to my doctor and had all sorts of tests. Blood tests came back negative. An ultrasound found nothing. Even a CT scan came back negative. That said, it was time well spent because they were able to rule out a lot of potentially life threatening conditions. But I still was in pain, especially in the morning or after laying down for a period of time. So I spoke with another MD and she suggested probiotics. I did some research on Amazon and this brand was well regarded, so I gave it shot. Well, I've been taking these for about about a month and I'm FINALLY starting to feel better. No more severe pain during the day and very little, if any when I get up in the morning. IMPORTANT: If you're experiencing abdominal pain I URGE you to see your doctor FIRST, before trying any probiotic. For example, severe abdominal pain could mean Appendicitis, which is a life threatening condition that requires emergency surgery
