Folic acid nanomedicine alleviates pain
We explored an innovative treatment for chronic bacterial prostatitis (CBP) by creating antibiotic-loaded nanoparticles modified with folic acid. These nanoparticles can effectively target and penetrate the prostate tissues where inflammation and pain occur.

In animal models, the folic acid-modified nanomedicine significantly alleviated pelvic pain and reduced inflammatory markers. This targeted approach enhances antibiotic delivery and improves treatment outcomes for CBP. Although the study showcases promising results, more research is needed to translate these findings to human patients.

We examined the effects of Flower pollen extract with vitamins (Deprox 500®) on chronic pelvic pain compared to Serenoa repens in patients diagnosed with Chronic Prostatitis/Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CP/CPPS).

In a randomized controlled trial involving 63 patients, those taking Deprox 500® experienced significant improvements in their symptom scores and overall quality of life.

Notably, patients with hypertension saw an even greater reduction in symptoms. This suggests that Deprox 500® could be a beneficial treatment option for managing pelvic pain.

Pain reduction

Good gynaecologists keep up with the times. They recommend starting methylfolate instead of folic acid for those planning pregnancy, as folic acid may not absorb well. After taking this vitamin, I noticed my cycle became more regular, with significantly reduced pelvic pain during my periods. This positive change occurred after just one jar for both my husband and me. I believe this vitamin is well absorbed and will yield good results!

To be honest, I didn't like these folates. After taking them, I experienced lower abdominal pain. Perhaps it's a coincidence, but the pain disappeared once I stopped taking the pills.

I took this supplement to maintain my women's health, following my doctor's advice. Although I'm not planning a pregnancy yet, I will buy this product when I do. It worked well with evening primrose oil: my pelvic pain during my period decreased, and overall, it seems beneficial for my cardiovascular health.
