Folic acid nanomedicine alleviates pain
We explored an innovative treatment for chronic bacterial prostatitis (CBP) by creating antibiotic-loaded nanoparticles modified with folic acid. These nanoparticles can effectively target and penetrate the prostate tissues where inflammation and pain occur.

In animal models, the folic acid-modified nanomedicine significantly alleviated pelvic pain and reduced inflammatory markers. This targeted approach enhances antibiotic delivery and improves treatment outcomes for CBP. Although the study showcases promising results, more research is needed to translate these findings to human patients.

We examined the effects of Flower pollen extract with vitamins (Deprox 500®) on chronic pelvic pain compared to Serenoa repens in patients diagnosed with Chronic Prostatitis/Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CP/CPPS).

In a randomized controlled trial involving 63 patients, those taking Deprox 500® experienced significant improvements in their symptom scores and overall quality of life.

Notably, patients with hypertension saw an even greater reduction in symptoms. This suggests that Deprox 500® could be a beneficial treatment option for managing pelvic pain.

I'm planning for a pregnancy. After a month, my pelvic pain decreased, and my periods became regular and lighter. My complexion improved too. As my doctor advised, I take it twice a day alongside methyl folate, Vitamin D, and omega 3. Perhaps this combination has positively affected my body. I hope it helps my preparations for pregnancy.

I was initially worried about skin issues and pelvic pain related to my multifollicular ovaries. My gynaecologist prescribed inositol and folate. I found this methylfolate from Jarrow formulas, noting immediate effects: my pelvic pain during PMS vanished, and my skin cleared significantly, reducing pesky closed comedones.

To be honest, I didn't like these folates. After taking them, I experienced lower abdominal pain. Perhaps it's a coincidence, but the pain disappeared once I stopped taking the pills.

I took this supplement to maintain my women's health, following my doctor's advice. Although I'm not planning a pregnancy yet, I will buy this product when I do. It worked well with evening primrose oil: my pelvic pain during my period decreased, and overall, it seems beneficial for my cardiovascular health.

Severe side effects
Despite the title, my experience was more about my individual intolerance than the drug itself. I suffered abdominal pains, diarrhoea, and severe nausea, while another drug only caused nausea and dizziness. Doctors insist I try again, but I'm hesitant due to the unbearable experience. Interestingly, my friends enjoy this particular folic acid. I'm curious if others have experienced similar side effects.
