Take this when on antibiotics to avoid digestive problems. After my pneumonia treatment, my digestive system struggled with antibiotics. My doctor recommended probiotics, and I chose Jarrow's S. Boulardii for its ability to survive the stomach and colonise the intestines. This product worked beautifully, maintaining my digestive order with only minor bloating. Compared to Florastor, this probiotic is much cheaper. Anyone on antibiotics should consider S. Boulardii. It's not a candida strain, so there's no fear of yeast infections, but avoid taking Diflucan concurrently as it can kill beneficial yeast.

After two years on high-dose antibiotics for late-stage Lyme disease, I took two Jarrow probiotics daily and did not experience any yeast infections or diarrhoea. They are effective with antibiotics since they are yeast-based and can be taken alongside my medications. I was initially apprehensive due to past yeast issues, but I've had no problems at all. This is an extremely beneficial supplement that I believe should be in every household's medicine cabinet, especially if there are children. It greatly assisted us with an intestinal infection in our one-year-old. We administered rehydron and saccharomycetes, opening the capsule and dissolving it in water. By the third day, there were no signs of poisoning. Additionally, we incorporated it into our treatment plan for the intestines regarding SIBO, and I can't recommend it enough; it’s indispensable.

After some research, I realised this product might cause uncommon side effects like bloating and symptoms akin to a yeast infection. Sadly, I believe I experienced these effects. I should have looked into its uses before ordering, as it may work for most people but not for me.
