This item was purchased for my mother, she received third-degree burns when she placed her arm over a gas tank that was aflame to turn off the gas. She was able to save her three grandchildren from an exploding gas tank. We have dubbed her super granny. However, the burn she received was substantial and left her incapacitated for almost a year. Her burns were not healing and the doctors were making a decision to do skin grafts because of that. We did not want that because she was in so much pain. We did not want her to go through anymore. Guys, it had to be the Lord because we believe in him. Where my sister was in the pharmacy and saw this product. We got confirmation that this can be used and I purchased it on Amazon to send it to the Caribbean. This was a miracle worker. My mother's arm is 95% healed and she up and about. I believed we have ordered our last box

Truly credit Juven for my healing

I ordered both the Orange and the Fruit Punch flavors of Juven. The Orange was similar to Metamucil and the fruit although I liked it more was still just okay, totally drinkable. However with that said, it's not a sipping drink it's a chug it and get it over with drink, in as little water (I used orange juice) as possible. Now with the just okay, but not bad flavor review over, let's talk about how it works. I am notorious for being a terrible healer, my incisions always take forever to heal and tons of other issues. On my doctor's recommendation I started Juven 2x daily 1 week before my surgery and continued for 4 weeks after. I have NEVER healed so quickly ever. Maybe it was coincidence maybe not, but I will use Juven pre and post surgery forever and I have been recommending it to everyone I know that is likely to have surgery. Overall I give Juven 5 stars because I truly believe it made a difference, 3 stars for taste but again, mixed in 4oz of orange juice makes it almost good. I gave 4 stars for value, because it in my opinion is far to expensive, but when you compare the amount of ingredients to similar supplements you can't beat it

Helps you heal quicker. Worth the money. Tastes good

If you have just been injured or had surgery, you should buy this and drink it twice a day. My mother works at a hospital, she is a RD (Registered Dietitian). Whenever she sees patients that have just had surgery, she advises them to use Juven twice a day. It contains a bunch of vitamins and supplements that will help you heal quicker. This also contains Bovine Collagen, which I didn't think you eat (its an inject-able as well) but if you eat Collagen it will help to heal your body from the inside out. Collagen (eating it) helps regenerate stomach tissue and also helps muscle, joints and ligament tissues regenerate quicker. Give yourself the best chance of recovery, buy the Juven and make sure to take it 2x a day. Its not cheap but you get what you pay for. This stuff is quality. And it tastes good. The fruit punch tastes good, I like the orange flavor better (tastes like tang) but both flavors taste really good especially considering this is a health food supplement

This item was recommended for my wife by her wound care director. It's a basic need to replace needed amino acids required by the body to grow new tissue needed for repair of unusual surgical wound problems. When a person becomes debilitated by extensive surgeries, they don't want to eat like normal people. They eat very little and this inhibits the wound from getting the needed nutrition for increased healing. Two supplements a day is enough to rejuvenate tissue repair along with added protein intake (chicken, beef, fish, beans, pork and any hight protein concentrated products) a day to help repair debilitated tissue. It is moderately expensive but very helpful on hard to repair wounds. It took about four weeks to reap the benefits of the product. I recommend this product like a weight lifter recommends a muscle building product. Normally because of its expense, muscle builders won't order this item because of it's cost, but because of it's results I recommended its use. After one month, the improvement in wound care it is very noticeable . It tastes good when mixed with 50% orange juice. At the wound care center today the doctor was very happy with the total results. Nutrition plays an important part in the outcome of healing wounds. To that extent Juven is an important ingredient. post tummy tuck and bbl juice

So my sister got a tummy tuck and lipo with fat transfer to the butt. I had heard from multiple people that this is amazing to help with healing. I ordered right away I got the unflavored and she tried it with water and said it was gross so she started mixing it with juice and she said she couldnt taste it at all. They also recommend drinking more than one a day but since we didnt want to have her heal too fast since they say that can be dangerous she only drank one a day for month and we feel like it worked wonders. Get it ladies!!

Worked like a CHAMP

I was recommended to drink this twice a day 7 days prior to tummy tuck surgery and for 14 days after. Let me set this up for you. Hip to hip incision which is roughly 14 INCHES long. Belly button recreated and healing from stitching. Muscles healing from being sewn back together. Drain tubes coming out of my hips for a week. Insane bruising on sides from liposuction. And when I say insane, imagine the most brutal, curb-stomping beating of a lifetime style bruising. I don't even know if I can share the pictures, but you can google it. It was scary when I saw myself in the mirror after. I bought the variety pack with orange and fruit punch. I didn't prefer one over the other honestly. The trick is to drink it with enough water, like a red Solo cup full. It's 'ok' like that, I just filled it up with room temp water, mixed it up, and chugged it. Twice a day. I would NOT suggest mixing the flavored varieties in anything. I tried the orange in a smoothie and it just overpowered all the flavors. Blech. If you plan on mixing with yogurt, ice cream, etc, get the plain powder. I'll be 2 weeks post-surgery tomorrow, and my bruising is almost entirely gone! I had my 2 week follow up the other day and the surgeon said I was healing ahead of schedule. I've been walking completely upright for about 4 days, off my pain meds, walking around 4k steps a day. I really think this drink helped a significant amount

A burn victim & wound recovery must-have!

Reviewing for unflavored “flavor.” I started adding Juven to proteins shakes about 3 weeks after having an ATV accident which resulted in third and fourth-degree burns on about 30% of my body. My surgeon endorsed me taking it when I asked about it. He said it probably would've been more beneficial to start taking immediately after my accident. I've been taking it about three weeks now. There is visible acceleration of healing. For example, I had a third-degree burn on the back of my right hand that was about the size of 4 postage stamps about two weeks ago. It is now the size of a finger nail clipping. A side benefit I've noticed is new hair growing around the frame of my face, my hair actually feels healthier & less dry , and my remaining fingernails are growing fast & not breaking, a first for me! Specific to the unflavored option, I don't taste it at all in a protein shake that consists of protein powder, water, ice, and a little bit of high- protein flavored yogurt. I have mixed it with chocolate Muscle Milk as well and did not taste anything different. I have not tried it in plain water or unflavored coffee, for example. but I am sensitive to flavors and there definitely is no strong flavor to the unflavored option. I agree with other reviewers that it is a bit pricey, but for what I am experiencing, it is worth the cost to me

Needs the be stirred well, but great taste if done right!

My surgeon recommended this as a supplement to help me recover from a major abdominal surgery, and while I can't tell for 100% certain that it helped but I think it did. Definitely didn't hurt anything. The surgeon's nutritionist also lauded this product. Grainy and chunky when not stirred well, I used an electric cocktail stirrer, 6oz of water, and drank it quickly...this made it not bad at all. In fact, the taste was pretty darn good. Would definitely recommend for anyone healing from an injury or surgery

I had a major (6 hour) hip revision surgery very recently. My day shift nurse recommended Juven. She used the product while caring for her father who had undergone a rough surgery for a bone infection of some sort. I have no clue how or why this stuff works. For me, it has helped my 8 inch incision heal very quickly thus far. This time around I am healing so much quicker, I am really grateful that she recommended this stuff. I mix it in a blender with 8 ice cubes, 5 chunks of pineapple and a whole banana. It's delicious, and it's doing an amazing job for me. Until the nurse suggested it, I'd never heard of it. I can only hope my recovery continues the current trajectory, Great, FAST, Amazon service too

Wound healing supplement

At recommendation of hospital dietitian, I ordered this supplement following surgery that left a large open wound on my leg. The wound clinic has been pleased with progress I've made these past 8 weeks. Juven has a fruit punch and an orange flavor. My initial purchase was the combo box so I could decide which flavor I preferred. There are 30 packets in a box, good for 15 days if you're taking recommended twice a day. It is an expensive product, hence 4 stars. The Amazon price has risen since I first purchased. In hindsight I should have ordered the subscription for better prices but I wasn't sure if I'd find it beneficial or for how long I'd take it
