Strains more consistent with bowel health
I originally started buying for my husband as he researched the strains contained of bacterium from most probiotics. These strains match the profile of the gut flora in those whom tend to be thinner and have healthier bowels. The research lately has shown that the strains of bacteria in the guts of those whom are heavier and have GI disturbances are nearly identical with the typical lactobacillus strains in most dairy products and probiotics. These three, lactobacillus Gasseri, bifidobacterium Biform, and bifobacterium longum are not typically found in the others. He has had dramatic effects, especially as he suffers from gastroparesis and other digestive disorders. Do your research on these bacterium as there is a lot of new literature that even describes how the researches transplanted these bacterium from one patient to another and discovered how the normal flora in the gut could be changed as well as what foods are harmful to the flora
