My daughter became lactose-intolerant suddenly. She now takes a Lactaid before eating anything with dairy in it. She also takes one NOW Foods BerryDophilus everyday, and combined with Lactaid, she can eat dairy at will now. This is a bottle of 120-count. You have to take 3 Original strength right before you eat dairy, and you have to take another 3 every 30 mins or so. The Fast Acting strength comes in individual pouches, and you take one before eating dairy, and another one every 20 mins. So we keep this original strength at home while keeping the Fast Acting individual pouches in the car so we have them at all time. We had originally purchased generic brands from a local store. They did not work. We are sticking with this brand name
