EDOF IOLs enhance postoperative vision
We examined the outcomes of using Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) intraocular lenses (IOLs), specifically the Tecnis Symfony, in patients who had cataract surgery. The study focused on a very mild myopia target range of -0.10 to -0.50 diopters.
Patients enjoyed enhanced near vision while preserving distance vision. Notably, with bilateral EDOF IOLs, 100% achieved distance spectacle independence, and 73% for near vision. Overall, our findings suggest that EDOF IOL implantation offers a safe way to improve vision for a broader range of everyday activities.

This product has worked wonders for me over nearly a year. My left eye is prone to hereditary glaucoma and related issues, so I’m cautious. My vision clarity has greatly improved, allowing me to see very clearly, except in cataract-affected areas. My optometrist advised me to maintain my eye health regimen, which includes other LE eye supplements like Eye Pressure Support and Tear Support.
