However, magnesium threonate is perfect! He appears calmer and sleeps better, displaying a more conscious demeanour. Unable to swallow capsules, I open them instead, and the effect remains. He has moments when generalized seizures may occur, which can only be stopped with injections, necessitating ambulance calls. Magnesium Threonate is of very high quality and is easily absorbed. Although a bit pricey, there are discounts available occasionally, such as two for NIS 200, which is worth keeping an eye on. It's suitable for breastfeeding and comes in a convenient bottle for storage. The ingredients are all of excellent quality, containing no animal products, gluten, or milk. It is the only magnesium that has quickly relieved my muscle pain during pregnancy within just fifteen minutes of taking it. I strongly recommend it! However, do consult a doctor before using it, as my recommendation is based on personal experience and not professional advice.

We explored the effects of a special material called magnesium-based zeolitic imidazolate frameworks, or Mg-ZIF, on osteoporosis. This study aimed to find a way to tackle osteoporosis by reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS)—harmful molecules that affect our bone health.

Our findings revealed that Mg-ZIF is effective at scavenging ROS, which helps boost the bone-forming ability of bone mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs). By promoting osteogenic differentiation, Mg-ZIF supports the formation of new bone while simultaneously discouraging the development of fat cells from BMSCs, a process known as lipogenic differentiation.

In our in vivo experiments, we confirmed that administering Mg-ZIF could successfully lower ROS levels and mitigate the effects of osteoporosis. On a deeper level, the mechanism behind this involves Mg-ZIF enhancing BMSC differentiation into bone-forming cells by upregulating specific lipid metabolic pathways.

Overall, we believe that Mg-ZIF holds promise as a therapeutic approach for osteoporosis. By addressing the oxidative stress in the bone marrow environment, it opens a new door for potential treatments targeting this common bone disease.

I'm using this specific form of magnesium to help with chronic migraines. Since I started, I've observed a positive improvement in both the frequency of migraine days and the degree of severity. I haven't been able to use my abortive medications recently, so I've increased my supplement doses when I feel vulnerable or have a migraine. While it may not eliminate the pain completely, it does significantly reduce it, and any relief is greatly appreciated.

The best form of magnesium. It’s the only type that penetrates the blood-brain barrier and enhances memory and mental capabilities, besides being quite soothing.
